In this paper, I want to survey Ukraine war from the viewpoint of christian realism and Non-violence Pacifism. First I want to examine the cause of Ukraine war and the conflict for supremacy between Russia and NATO behind of them and analysis a justification for the war critically through the christian realism of the Reinhold Niebuhr. And I will seek the solution for the peace and coexistence of global village through the non-violence pacifism of J. H. Yoder based on the cross of Jesus. Reinhold Niebuhr emphasized a system of checks and balances of power to overcome the strong collectivism at the international relation. John Howard Yoder emphasized Non-violence Pacifism. He stressed the role of Christian community to follow Jesus’ way of the Cross. Johan Galtung suggested the solution by changing the conflict likewise violence and war to the creative conflict. Ukraine war is confronted by two critical situation, First, when Russia is driven into a corner, the world would be facing danger of a nuclear war. Second, when this war keeps going, Ukraine would be scapegoat. Therefore it is a wise solution that we must choose the peace through negotiation in order to avoid the worst situation. It is our duty and assignment to realize the true peace of global village. Therefore both sides must fine a creative solution through the compromise and concession.

본 소고에서는 현재 진행되고 있는 우크라이나 전쟁을 기독교 현실 주의와 평화윤리적 관점에서 비판적으로 고찰하고자 한다. 먼저 전쟁 의 원인과 그 배후에서 전개되는 패권 다툼의 실체를 라인홀드 니버의 기독교 현실주의를 통해 비판적으로 분석하고자 한다. 패권을 향한 강대국의 오만과 그 배후에 있는 악의 구조를 비판하면서 기독교 평화 윤리를 통해 그 대안을 찾고자 한다. 이를 위해 요한 갈퉁, 존 하워드 요더의 평화윤리를 통해 지구촌의 평화와 공존을 위한 방안을 모색하 고자 한다. 라인홀드 니버는 국제관계에서 집단 이기주의가 강하게 작용하기 때문에 힘의 견제와 균형을 통해서 정의를 구현할 것을 강조 했다. 존 하워드 요더는 평화주의를 강조하였는데, 예수의 십자가의 길을 선택하고, 이를 실현하려고 하는 기독교 공동체의 역할을 강조하 였다. 요한 갈퉁은 갈등을 창조적 갈등으로 전환시켜 해법을 찾을 것 을 강조하였다. 우크라이나 전쟁은 두 가지 한계상황에 직면하였다. 첫째, 러시아가 궁지에 몰릴 경우, 전 세계는 핵전쟁의 위험에 처하게 될 것이다. 둘째, 전쟁이 지속될수록 우크라이나가 대리전의 희생양이 되고 있다. 따라서 최악의 상황으로 치닫지 않도록 적절한 선에서 협 상을 통한 평화를 선택하는 것이 지혜로운 방안이 될 것이다. 지구촌 의 평화를 건설하는 것이 우리의 의무이자 과제이다. 따라서 전쟁을 끝내기 위해서는 양 진영이 타협과 양보를 위한 대화의 장으로 만나 창조적 해결책을 찾아야 할 것이다.
