Recently, key technology leakage accidents have occurred intensively in Small and Mid-sized Enterprises(SMEs) operating overseas, but due to business conditions, such SMEs are reluctant to invest in preparing appropriate technological protection measures and implementing related legal requirements. Therefore, in terms of new technologies protection, economic and practical protection measures suitable for overseas SMEs are urgently required. In this paper, we review the information protection support laws and policies for SMEs proposes a cloud-based integrated threat management service that supports security management services for client computers remotely installed overseas through a virtual private network, as one of the technical information protection measures for SMEs operating overseas. The proposed service allows SMEs to flexibly select the security functions they need, and is convenient, economical, and meets the requirements of relevant laws and regulations.

최근 핵심 기술 유출 사고가 해외에 진출한 중소기업에서 집중적으로 발생하고 있으나, 그러한 중소기업은 경영 여 건 때문에, 적절한 기술적 보호 대책 마련 및 관련 법적 요구사항 이행을 위한 투자를 꺼리는 실정이다. 따라서 신기 술 보호 차원에서 해외 진출 중소기업에 적합한 경제적이며 실용적인 보호 대책이 시급히 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 먼저 중소기업에 대한 정보보호 지원 법령 및 정책을 검토하고, 해외 진출 중소기업의 기술적 정보보호 대책의 하나 로, 국내에서 가상사설망을 통해 원격으로 해외에 설치된 클라이언트 컴퓨터에 보안 기능을 지원하는 클라우드 기반 통합위협관리 서비스를 제안한다. 제안된 서비스는 해외 진출 중소기업에서 신축적으로 필요한 보안 기능을 선택할 수 있으며, 사용이 편리하고, 경제적이며, 관련 법령의 요구조건을 충족한다.
