This study analyzes the latest Chinese political elite type change with the case of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party, which was formed in 2022. As a framework of analysis, a 4-dimensional political elite typology is used by modifying and supplementing the existing 2-dimensional typology. In other words, unity, differentiation, extent of circulation and mode of circulation all measure changes in the type of political elite in four dimensions. As a result of the analysis, China's newest type of political elite has the following characteristics that are different from the existing types. The level of unity is similar to or slightly higher than before. The degree of differentiation has increased somewhat. The range of circulation was significantly narrowed, and the way of circulation was found to be somewhat radical. Therefore, according to the 4-dimensional political elite typology, it can be said that it has changed to the ‘S-W-N-S' type.

본 연구는 2022년 구성된 공산당 제20기 중앙위원회를 사례로 최신 중국 정치 엘리트 유형 변화를 분석하고 있다. 분석틀로는 기존의 2차원적 유형법을 수정 및 보완하여 4차원 적 정치 엘리트 유형법을 사용하고 있다. 즉 통합, 분화, 순환의 범위 그리고 순환의 방식 등 모두 4 차원에서 정치 엘리트 유형의 변화를 측정했다. 분석 결과, 중국의 최신 정치 엘리트 유형은 기존보다 다른 다음과 같은 특징을 나타냈다. 통합의 수준은 기존과 유사하거 나 다소 높아졌다. 분화의 정도는 다소 높아졌다. 순환의 범위는 상당 수준 좁아졌으며, 순환 의 방식은 다소 급진적인 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 4차원적 정치 엘리트 유형법에 따르면, ‘S-W-N-S’형으로 변화했다고 할 수 있다.
