The purpose of this article is to discuss the transliteration and translation aspects of Korean neologisms in Chinese Korean language, focusing on Korean “-jok” neologisms, and to suggest problems and solutions that should be considered in future neologism translations. This study first divided the borrowings of neologisms from Korean into transliteration and translation, and then reclassified transliteration and translation. Based on this classification, the transliteration and translation patterns of Korean “-jok” neologisms were found to be mainly transliteration, with some transliteration and translation by phonetic reading, while English vocabulary was mainly translated by transliteration. Through a review of the translation patterns of “-jok” neologisms, it was noted that the transliteration and translation of neologisms should accept the vocabulary settled in North and South Korea, reduce mistranslations, and avoid direct borrowing of foreign original words; and that the revision of the Korean Language Dictionary in China and the training of normative personnel are necessary for the continuous development of the Korean language normative work.

이 글은 조선어 '-족'류 신어를 대상으로, 중국 조선어에서의 신어의 음 역과 번역 양상을 논의하고, 앞으로 신어 번역에서 고려해야 할 문제와 그 해결 방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 우선 조선어 에서의 신어의 차용을 음역과 번역으로 나누고 음역과 번역을 다시 재분 류하였다. 이와 같은 분류에 근거하여 한어 '-족'류 신어의 음역 및 번역 양상을 살펴보면, 의역에 의한 번역이 주를 이루고 음독에 의한 음역도 존재하며 영어 어휘는 주로 음역에 의한 번역으로 이루어지고 있었다. '- 족'류 신어의 번역 양상에 대한 검토를 통해 신어의 음역과 번역 작업은 남북에서 정착한 어휘를 받아들이고 오역을 줄이며 외국어 원어의 직접 적인 차용을 지양해야 함을 언급하고 조선어 규범화 작업의 지속적인 발전을 위해 중국에서의 『조선말사전』의 개정, 규범화 작업 인력의 양성이 필요함을 언급하였다.
