The goals of unification education can be considered as 'faith and pursuit of universal values', 'cultivation of love for humanity or cosmopolitanism', and 'enhancement of will for denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and arms control or disarmament'. The content of unification education also needs to be structured from the perspective of global citizenship education or peace education. As a method of unification education, participation and solidarity can be considered.
