This study was conducted to identify the factors influencing changes in life satisfaction of people with visual or hearing disability. This study used a total of 1,518 subjects including 757 visual disability and 761 hearing disability people from the 1st(2018)-3rd(2020) Disability and Life Dynamics Panel. A linear mixed model was used to analize the data. In this study, it was found subjects with visual or hearing disability increased life satisfaction significantly over time (p<.001). For life satisfaction, those who acquired a disability increase by.70 over time compared to congenital disability (p=.028). As the disability acceptance score increased, life satisfaction was decreased by .04 (p=.045). Life satisfaction increased significantly by .02 over time according to increase amount of smoking (p=.038). From the results, it is necessary to develop a program that considers the cause of disability, acceptance of disability, and health behaviors in order to improve the life satisfaction of the disabled.

본 연구는 장애인 삶 패널조사 1차(2018년)-3차(2020년) 자료를 활용하여, 시각 및 청각장애인의 삶의 만족도 변화에 미치는 영향 요인을 알아보기 위하여 선형혼합모형분석법을 사용하여 시행하였다. 본 연구의 결과에서 대상자의 삶의 만족도 평균 점수는 1차 5.30점, 2차 5.55점, 그리고 3차 5.68점으로 삶의 만족도가 시간이 지남에 따라 유의미하게 상승하였다(p<.001). 시간에 따른 삶의 만족도 변화에 미치는 영향 요인은 대상자가 후천적으로 장애를 가지게 된 경우 선천적인 경우보다 시간이 지남에 따라 .70씩 삶의 만족도가 증가하였고(p=.028), 장애 수용 점수가 1점씩 증가할 때마다 .04씩 감소하는 것으로 확인되었다(p=.045). 흡연량이 1개비씩 증가할 때마다 .02만큼 삶의 만족도는 유의미하게 감소하 였다(p=.038). 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 시각 또는 청각장애인의 삶의 만족도의 향상을 위해서는 장애의 원인과 장애를 수용하는 정도를 고려한 삶의 만족도 향상 프로그램을 개발하는 것이 필요하다.
