In this study, middle-aged men in their 40s and 60s, who are the age group with the highest frequency of gambling use, tried to explore the effect of the gambling risk environment on gambling addiction and to examine their relationship longitudinally. To this end, three surveys were conducted every six months on adult panels of Internet research companies, and data from 564 people who responded to all three surveys were used for analysis. The gambling risk environment was measured by recognition of gambling sites; promotional contact experience with gambling sites; gambling degree and gambling recommendation experience of people around them; and online illegal gambling behavior was measured by the frequency of experiencing online betting games such as ladders, snails, graphs, and lohai. An analysis was conducted using Hayes' Macro to explore how the gambling risk environment at the first point affects gambling addiction at the third point through online illegal gambling at the second point, and as a result of the analysis, online illegal gambling behavior significantly mediated their relationship. In other words, it was confirmed that the gambling risk environment of middle-aged men increases online gambling behavior, which can lead to gambling addiction problems. Based on these results, the importance of managing the gambling risk environment in the gambling problem of middle-aged men and the effect of online illegal gambling on gambling addiction were discussed.

본 연구에서는 도박이용 빈도가 가장 높은 연령대인 40-60대 중장년 남성을 중심으로 도 박위험 환경이 도박중독에 미치는 영향을 탐색하고 이들의 관계를 온라인 불법 온라인 도박 행동이 매개하는지를 종단적으로 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 인터넷 조사회사의 성인 패 널을 대상으로 6개월 간격의 3회의 조사를 실시하였으며 3회의 조사에 모두 응답한 564명의 자료가 분석에 사용되었다. 도박위험환경은 도박사이트에 대한 인지;, 도박사이트에 대한 홍 보 접촉 경험, 주변인의 도박정도 및 도박권유 경험 등으로 측정되었으며 온라인 불법 도박 행동은 사다리, 달팽이, 그래프, 로하이 등의 온라인 돈내기 게임, 사설 스포츠 토토, 인터넷 카지노등을 경험해 본 빈도로 측정하였다. 1차 시점의 도박위험환경이 2차 시점의 온라인 불 법도박을 매개로 3차 시점의 도박중독에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 탐색하기 위해 Hayes의 Macro를 활용한 분석을 실시하였으며 분석결과 도박위험환경은 도박중독에 정적인 영향을 미쳤으며 이들의 관계를 온라인 불법도박행동이 유의하게 매개하였다. 즉, 중장년남성의 도 박위험 환경은 온라인 도박행동을 증가시키고 이는 도박중독 문제로 이어질 수 있음을 확인 하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 중장년 남성의 도박문제에 있어 도박위험환경을 관리의 중 요성과 온라인 불법도박의 특성이 도박중독에 미치는 영향에 관하여 논의하였다
