The purpose of this study was to examine the present status of music therapy for at-risk adolescents and recognition from experts and music therapists who specialize in this field, in order to provide insights into applications and development strategies for music therapy for adolescents at risk in the future. The survey was conducted 110 professionals and 75 music therapists who had experience in music therapy with at-risk adolescents. The research results are as follows. Firstly, the implementation rate of music therapy in at-risk adolescents related institutions was very limited, and there was a lack of understanding and expectations of music therapy for them. However, there was a significant difference in the expected effects of music therapy between institutions that implemented music therapy and those that did not. Secondly, music therapists recognized the need for music therapy for at-risk adolescents, but showed a low understanding of them. Thirdly, both institutions and music therapists acknowledged family factors as a significant risk cause for crisis adolescents. In addition, therapists and institutions identified "resistance and non-response of the treatment subject" and "difficulty in providing sufficient treatment environment and treatment period" as the biggest obstacles. The results of this study indicate that there is a necessity to increase awareness and develop music therapy programs for at-risk adolescents, and provide meaningful perspectives into practical considerations for the implementation of music therapy with at-risk adolescents in the future.

본 연구는 위기청소년을 대상으로 하는 음악치료의 현황과 관련 종사자 및 음악치료사들의 의견을 조사하여, 향후 위기청소년을 위한 음악치료 영역에서의 실질적인 적용과 발전방안을 제시하고자 한다. 대상은 위기청소년 관련기관의 담당자와 위기청소년 대상의 음악치료 경험이 있는 음악치료사이며 설문조사를 진행하여 기관 110, 치료사 75명의 자료가 분석되었다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 위기청소년 관련기관의 음악치료 시행률은 전반적으로 낮으며, 위기 청소년을 대상으로 하는 음악치료의 기대 및 인식도도 낮게 나타났다. 그러나 음악치료 시행기 관과 시행하지 않은 기관 사이에서 음악치료 기대효과에서는 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 음악치료사들은 위기청소년을 대상으로 하는 음악치료의 필요성을 높이 인식하지만, 대상군에 대한 낮은 이해도를 보였다. 셋째, 관련기관과 음악치료사 모두 위기청소년의 위험요인으로 가 족적 요인을 크게 인식하고 있었다. 또한, 위기청소년을 대상으로 하는 치료에서 치료사와 기 관은 ‘치료 대상자의 저항과 무반응’, ‘충분한 치료 환경 제공과 치료 기간 확보의 어려움’을 가 장 큰 어려움으로 인식하였다. 본 연구 결과는 위기청소년을 대상으로 하는 음악치료 분야의 홍보 및 프로그램의 개발에 대한 필요성을 제기하며, 향후 이들을 대상으로 하는 음악치료 적 용 시 실질적으로 고려할 점에 대해 시사한다는 점에 의의가 있다.
