This study was attempted to closely examine the influence of the melodies of on subsequent pieces of music. To this end, the melodies of , , , , and were structurally compared and analyzed. As a result of structurally analyzing the melodies of the musical pieces studied, it was found that had the most direct impact on the formation of melodies in , and also influenced the formation of melodies in and . The basic form of the phrase unit melody of the music related is as follows. In ‘Jeongang(前腔)’: ‘gung-sang2-gung(宮-上二-宮)’, in ‘Junggang(中腔)’: ‘sang2- gung-ha2-gung(上二-宮-下二-宮)’, in ‘Hugang(後腔)’: ‘sang2-gung-ha2(上二-宮-下二)’, in ‘Daeyeop(大葉)’: ‘gung-sang2-gung-ha2(宮-上二-宮-下二)’, in ‘Buyeop(附葉)’: ‘gung-ha2- ha3-ha5(宮-下二-下三-下五)’ was used. The basic form of ‘Daeyeop’ melody, ‘gung-sang2- gung-ha2(宮-上二-宮-下二)’ is also included in many variations of the melodic type of the music related . So this type of melody is very important in the music related . The melodic type, ‘gung-sang2-gung-ha2(宮-上二-宮-下二)’ consists of a melodic contour that ascends 4th and then descends 4th twice in a row, and can be said to be a melodic type that ascends and descends one octave long. Through this study, it was found that the melodies of the music related to were structurally very similar. Therefore the establishment of means the birth of the melodic matrix of the pieces composed of 7 phrases. And it can be seen that even if the melodic types used in the phrase unit melodies of each piece of music are similar, individual pieces with different types of sub-phrase unit melodies are made. At this time, the sub-phrase unit melodies depends on which melody is added to the lyrics of which note, and how the melody is separated and connected.

본 연구는 <한림별곡> 선율의 형성과 <한림별곡>이 7개의 악구로 구성된 악곡들의 선율 형성에 미친 영향을 면밀히 살펴보고자 시도되었다. 이를 위해 <진작 4>, <한림별곡>, <유림가>, <감군은>, <삼성대왕> 의 선율을 구조적으로 비교분석하였다. 연구대상 악곡들의 선율을 분석한 결과 <한림별곡>은 <삼성대왕> 선율의 형성에 가장 직접적인 영향을 주었고, <유림가>와 <감군은> 선율의 형성에도 영향을 주었다는 것을 알 수 있었다. <한림별곡> 관련 악곡들의 악구 단위 선율의 기본형은 ‘전강’에 ‘궁-상2-궁’, ‘중강’에 ‘상2-궁-하2-궁’, ‘후강’에 ‘상2-궁-하2’, ‘대엽’에 ‘궁-상2-궁-하2’, ‘부엽’에 ‘궁-하2-하3-하5’가 사용되었다. ‘대엽’ 선율 의 기본형인 ‘궁-상2-궁-하2’는 <한림별곡> 관련 악곡 선율들의 변화형에도 다수 포함되어 있어, 이 선율 형이 <한림별곡> 관련 악곡들에서 매우 중요하게 사용되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. ‘궁-상2-궁-하2’ 선율형 은 4도 상행 후 4도를 연속으로 두 번 하행하는 선율윤곽으로 되어 있고, 상행 후 길게 한 옥타브를 하행하 는 선율형이라 할 수 있겠다. 본 연구에서 살펴본 <한림별곡> 관련 악곡들의 선율은 구조적으로 매우 유사한 형태로 되어 있으므로, <한림별곡>의 성립은 7개 악구로 구성된 악곡들의 선율적 모체의 탄생이라는 의미를 갖는다고 할 수 있겠 다. 본 연구를 통해 각 악곡의 악구 단위 선율형이 유사하다 하더라도 선율을 어떤 음보의 가사에 얹고, 어떤 방식으로 떼고 붙이느냐에 따라 각기 다른 유형의 소악구 단위 선율형을 갖는 개별 악곡들이 형성되는 것을 알 수 있었다.
