The purpose of this study was to develop more effective and efficient ESG management education programs by analyzing and presenting companies' needs for ESG education as companies' interest in ESG management education increases in relation to the introduction of ESG management. To this end, existing ESG education programs were collected and analyzed, divided into three branches, and six educational goals were derived. To achieve these educational purposes, it was confirmed that ESG education programs using simulation were needed, which could be applied equally without statistical differences in business type and size. In addition, as a result of grasping the relative importance between educational goals, it was found that companies judge 'a general understanding of the importance of ESG management' as the most important educational purpose.

본 연구는 ESG 경영의 도입과 관련하여 ESG 경영 교육에 대한 국내 기업의 관심이 증가하고 있음에 따라 기업의 ESG 교육에 대한 니즈를 분석하여 제시함으로써 보다 효과적이고 효율적인 ESG 경영 교육 프로그램을 개발하기 위한 목적으로 진행되었다. 이를 위해 탐색적으로 기 존의 ESG 교육 프로그램을 수집하고 그 내용을 분석하여 3가지의 갈래로 구분하고 6가지의 교육목표를 도출하였으며, 이러한 교육목적을 달 성하기 위하여 시뮬레이션을 활용한 ESG 교육 프로그램이 필요하다는 것을 확인하였으며, 이는 기업의 업종, 규모와 관련하여 통계적 차이가 없이 동일하게 적용될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 추가적으로 교육목표간의 상대적 중요성을 파악해본 결과 기업은 ESG 경영의 중요성에 대한 전 반적 이해를 가장 중요한 교육목적으로 판단하고 있음을 파악하였다.
