The purpose of this study is to explore cases in which the employment model of persons with developmental disabilities can be restructured in connection with the perspective of life cycle and lifelong education. As the content of the study, this study basically dealt with the reconceptualization of various components (employment, employment stability, employability, supported employment, customized employment) that should be considered to restructure the employment model for PDD. Contrary to the existing trend of looking at employment for PDD only as a performance dimension of employment or vocational training for livelihood, it was intended to expand into a comprehensive career development and management plan linked to social participation and lifelong education based on adult life cycle. Accordingly, a plan was devised in which the functional meaning of employment stability and employability can be utilized by the process of interconnection and circulation in the employment model for PDD. In addition, the re-conceptualization of evidence-based, actually-established supported employment and customized employment in the field of employment for PDD was also presented as the main content of the study. The FGI procedure based on the collection and analysis of incidental data through the review of the research literature was used as the research method. As a result of the study, a roadmap model was designed and presented to implement vocational training in various linkage and circulation structures based on the level of supported and customized level in terms of school age, adulthood transition, adulthood employment, and adulthood non-employment of PDD. Through the results of this study, it was possible to examine the possibility that the employment model for PDD can be developed and implemented in various cases in terms of restructuring of cultural forms. In particular, it is analyzed that a long-term employment model and roadmap can be established according to the entire life cycle of PDD by transferring the level-based (e.g., supported level, customized level) interconnection and circulation structure through reconceptualization of the recognition and system of existing supported employment and customized employment for PDD operated in mutually separated programs.

본 연구는 생애주기 및 평생교육의 관점과 연계하여 발달장애인의 고용 모형을 재구조화 할 수 있는 사례를 탐색하는 데 목적을 두었다. 연구의 내용으로, 발달장애인의 고용 모형 을 재구조화하기 위해 고려되어야 할 여러 구성요소들(고용, 고용안정성, 고용가능성, 지원 고용, 맞춤고용)에 대한 재개념화를 기본적으로 다루었다. 발달장애인의 고용을 단순히 생 계를 위한 취업이나 직업훈련의 성과 차원으로만 조망하는 기존의 근거 동향과는 달리 성 인기 생애 주기에 기반을 둔 사회참여 및 평생교육 등과 연계한 종합적인 경력개발 및 관 리 방안으로 확장하고자 하였다. 이에 따라, 고용안정성과 고용가능성에 대한 기능적 의미 가 발달장애인의 고용 모형에서 상호 연계 및 순환되는 절차에 의해 활용될 수 있는 방안 을 강구하였다. 그리고 기존의 발달장애인 고용 분야에서 근거 기반의 실제로 정립된 지원 고용과 맞춤고용의 재개념화도 연구의 주요 내용으로 제시하였다. 연구 방법은 연구 문헌의 검토를 통한 부수적 자료 수집 및 분석에 기반한 FGI의 절차가 사용되었다. 연구 결과, 발 달장애인의 학령기, 성인기 전환, 성인기 고용, 성인기 비고용의 네 가지 차원에서 지원된 수준과 맞춤형 수준에 기반을 두어 직업훈련을 다양한 연계 및 순환의 구조로 실시할 수 있는 로드맵 모형이 설계, 제시되었다. 연구 결과를 통해, 본 연구는 발달장애인의 고용 모 형이 문화적 양식의 재구조화 차원에서 다양한 사례로 개발 및 실행될 수 있다는 가능성을 검토해 볼 수 있었다. 특히, 상호 독립적으로 구분된 프로그램 안에서 운영되는 기존의 발 달장애인의 지원고용과 맞춤고용에 대한 인식과 체계를 재개념화하여 수준 기반(예: 지원된 수준, 맞춤형 수준)의 상호 연계 및 순환 구조로 전환함으로써, 발달장애인의 전 생애 주기 에 따른 장기적인 고용 모형과 로드맵이 구축될 수 있다는 측면도 분석되었다.
