As the Korean cosmetics industry grows, K-beauty has been attracting worldwide attention owing to increased preference for the quality and brands of Korean cosmetics and increased exports. In this developing cosmetics industry, various patents such as patents for cosmetics components and patents for containers are being applied and registered. Cosmetics container market related to the development of cosmetics shows the increase of sales in proportion to the size of the cosmetics market. As it became necessary to develop containers that can give convenience and practicality as well as the function of differentiated containers, the importance of the invention of cosmetics containers is highlighted. This study investigated the shapes and technology of cosmetics containers, identified cases which applied ideas obtained through patent case analysis of lipstick containers among cosmetics containers, and examined how to create the ideas for inventing cosmetics containers through patent development of new functional lipstick containers. We developed a patent for the fusion structure of lipstick and lip gloss that compensated for the shortcomings of the existing lipstick container and increased functionality and convenience. As a result of the research, it was possible to identify and improve the problems of existing products, develop new structures and functions of cosmetic containers with differentiated creative ideas, improve convenience and efficiency, and propose original patent development methods.

한국 화장품 산업이 성장하면서, K-뷰티가 화장품의 품질 및 브랜드에 대한 선호도 증가와 수출 증대 등으 로 전 세계적으로 관심을 받고 있다. 이렇게 발전하는 화장품 산업 속에서는 화장품 성분에 대한 특허, 용기에 대한 특허 등 다양한 특허가 출원되고 등록되고 있 다. 화장품의 발전과 연관성을 가지고 있는 화장품 용기 시장은 화장품 시장 규모에 비례하여 판매가 증가하 며 성장하고 있다. 화장품 용기 형태와 디자인은 화장품의 브랜드 이미지를 전달하고 형성하는 역할을 한다. 이에 각 화장품 브랜드에서는 차별화된 전략으로 상품의 선도적 역할을 위해 기본적인 특성만을 갖춘 화장품 용기보다는 효율 성과 트렌드가 적용된 신기능 용기의 개발이 요구되고 있다. 차별화된 용기의 기능뿐 아니라 편리성과 실용성 을 줄 수 있는 용기 개발이 필요해지면서 화장품 용기 의 발명에 대한 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 본 연구는 화장품 용기의 형태와 기술을 고찰하고, 화장품 용기 중에서 립스틱 용기의 특허 사례분석을 통 해 아이디어 적용사례를 파악하고, 신기능 립스틱 용기의 특허 개발을 통해 화장품 용기 발명의 아이디어 도 출에 대해 연구하고자 하였다. 기존 립스틱 용기의 단점을 보완하여 기능성과 편리성을 높인 립스틱과 립글 로스의 융합구조에 관한 특허 개발을 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 기존 제품의 문제점을 파악하고 개선하여 차별화된 창의적 아이디어로 화장품 용기의 새로운 구조와 기능을 개발하여 편리성과 효율성을 높이고 독창적인 특허 개발 방안을 제시할 수 있었다.
