『Akhakgwebeom(樂學軌範)』 was published in woodblock print in King Seongjong’s reign. Due to the lack of records, it is not possible to determine how many times 『Akhakgwebeom』 was printed before the Imjin War(the Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592, 壬辰倭亂). But 『Akhakgwebeom』, printed before the Imjin War and stored in Hosa Library(蓬左文庫) in Japan, has one bibliographic feature which shows that it could be the edition before King Jungjong’s reign. This book has five ownership stamps. They prove this book’s journey from the hand of the original owner Lee Woo-Min(李友閔) to Tokugawa Ieyasu(德川家康)’s family libray in Japan during and after the Imjin War. In addition to Lee Woo-Min, Lee Moon-Gun(李文楗) and Heo Gyun(許筠) had also owned or read 『Akhakgwebeom』 before the Imjin War, according to their anthologies. The ‘Sillokhyeongjian(實錄形止案)’ shows that the 『Akhakgwebeom』 was not preserved nationally before the republishing in Gwanghaegun’s reign(1610). The pre-Imjin War edition of 『Akhakgwebeom』 was first discovered by Lee Hong-Jik(李弘 稙) in 1940 at Hosa Library, and was photoprinted a total of seven times starting in 1968.

성종조에 목판으로 간행된 『악학궤범』이 몇 차례 인출되었는지는 기록의 미비로 인해 파악할 수 없으나, 임진왜란 전에 인출된 『악학궤범』이 일본 봉좌문고에 소장되어 있다. 이 ‘임란전판 『악학궤 범』’의 서지상 특징 중 하나인 흑어미(黑魚尾)는 이 판본이 중종 이전의 것일 수도 있는 가능성을 보 여주며, 다섯 가지 장서인(藏書印)은 원소장자의 손을 떠나 임진왜란 중 왜(倭)에 건너가게 된 책의 행적을 증명해 준다. 장서인을 통해 확인되는 임란전판 『악학궤범』의 원소장자 이우민(李友閔) 외 에도 임진왜란 이전에 『악학궤범』은 이문건(李文楗)ㆍ허균(許筠) 등이 소장 또는 열람했던 것이 그 들의 문집을 통해 확인된다. 조선후기에 실록을 보관하는 사고(史庫)에서 『악학궤범』을 보전했던 것과는 달리, 임진왜란 이전과 광해판 『악학궤범』 중간(重刊) 이전까지는 『악학궤범』을 사고에 보 존하지 않았던 것을 실록형지안(實錄形止案)을 통해 파악할 수 있다. 임란전판 『악학궤범』은 1940 년 이홍직이 봉좌문고에서 처음 발견하였고, 1968년을 시작으로 총 일곱 차례 영인되었다.
