In this study, we would like to confirm the effect of gender role stereotypes and distorted gender culture perceptions on stalking behavior. In addition, the purpose is to further verify the mediating effect of stalking tolerance in the relationship between gender role stereotypes and distorted gender culture perception and stalking behavior to analyze the influencing factors of stalking behavior. Based on this, the ultimate purpose was to prevent stalking behavior and protect victims of stalking crimes, and the following research results were confirmed. First, gender role stereotypes were found to have a positive (+) effect on stalking behavior. In other words, the stronger the gender role stereotype, the higher the possibility of committing stalking. Second, it was found that distorted gender culture perception did not have a direct and significant effect on stalking behavior. Third, stalking tolerance mediated the relationship between gender role stereotypes and stalking behavior, and it was also found to mediate the relationship between distorted gender culture perception and stalking behavior. Therefore, in the relationship between gender role stereotypes and stalking behavior, it was possible to confirm the full and direct mediating effects. In the relationship between distorted gender culture perception and stalking behavior, the complete mediating effect was confirmed.

이 연구에서는 성 역할 고정관념과 왜곡된 성문화 인식이 스토킹 행위에 미치는 영 향을 확인해보고자 한다. 이와 더불어 성 역할 고정관념과 왜곡된 성문화 인식 및 스토 킹 행위의 관계에서 스토킹 허용도의 매개효과를 추가적으로 검증하여 스토킹 행위의 영향요인을분석하는 것을목적으로 한다. 이를 바탕으로 스토킹 행위를 예방하고스토 킹 범죄 피해자를 보호하는 것을 궁극적인 목적으로 설정하였고, 다음과 같은 연구 결 과를 확인할 수 있었다. 첫째, 성 역할 고정관념은 스토킹 행위에 정(+)적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 성 역할 고정관념이 강할수록 스토킹 행위를 저지를 가능성이 크다는 것이다. 둘째, 왜곡된 성문화 인식은 스토킹 행위에 직접적이고 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 스토킹 허용도는 성 역할 고정관념과 스토킹 행위 간 관계를 매개하였 으며, 왜곡된성문화인식과스토킹 행위간 관계 역시 매개하는것으로나타났다. 따라 서 성 역할 고정관념과 스토킹 행위 간 관계에서는 완전매개효과와 부분매개효과를 확인할 수 있었고, 왜곡된 성문화 인식과 스토킹 행위 간 관계에서는 완전매개효과를 확 인할 수 있었다.
