Unlike the previously appeared male "Joker" character, this study aims to create a female-oriented "Joker" to illuminate women's unique power with art makeup design. First, as a typical clown, we examine the makeup image and characteristics of the Joker. Second, it designs clown art makeup works and proposes visual information and works through makeup illustrations, color analysis, and works. As a research method, a total of 10 makeup types were applied to three models, including themselves. In addition to using general eyeshadow as makeup tools and expression materials, oil paint (for makeup) and lipstick were characteristically used. As the subject of the study, images were applied by investigating clowns such as Joker, Harley Quinn, Joker Buggy, Joker King, and Uncle McDonald. The meaning of each work was interpreted and analyzed as a unique characteristic for expressing the inner side of the model. As a result of the study, 10 "Crown Lady" works were designed and proposed as art makeup by combining the uniqueness of Joker and women. As a result of the study, the clown Joker's makeup was representatively expressed as a disregard for facial formality, exaggeration of form, distortion and imbalance. For the realistic discriminatory constraints and social phenomena that the model is in, stories and motifs that can be overcome were given to each work. 본 연구의 목적은 기존에 등장했던 남성 '조커' 캐릭터와 달리 여성 위주의 '조커'를 창조하여 여성의 색다른 힘을 아트 메이크업 디자인으로 조명하기 위한 것이다. 첫째, 어릿광대의 전형으로서 조커의 메이크업 이미지와 특징을 고찰한다. 둘째, 어릿광대 아트 메이크업 작품을 디자인하고 메이크업 일러스트, 컬러분석, 작품 등으로 시각정보와 작품을 제안한다. 연구방법으로 총 10가지의 메이크업을 본인 포함 3명의 모델에게 적용하였다. 메이크업 도구와 표현재료로 일반적인 아이섀도우를 사용하는 것 외에도 오일 페인트(메이크업용)과 립스틱을 특징 있게 사용하였다. 연구의 대상으로 조커, 할리 퀸, 조커 버기, 조커 킹, 맥도날드 삼촌 등의 어릿광대를 조사하여 이미지를 응용하였다. 각 작품의 의미를 해석하고 모델의 내면을 표현하기 위한 고유한 특징으로 표현방식의 창의성에 의미를 부여하고 분석하였다. 연구결과, 조커와 여성의 고유성을 결합해 10개의 '크라운 레이디(Clown lady)' 작품을 아트 메이크업으로 디자인하고 제안하였다. 어릿광대 조커의 메이크업은 얼굴 조형성 무시와 형태의 과장 그리고 왜곡과 불균형이 대표적으로 표현되었다. 모델이 처해있는 현실적인 차별적인 제약과 사회적 현상에 대하여 각 작품마다 극복할 수 있는 스토리와 모티브를 부여하였다. 결론적으로 본 작품에 투영된 ‘어릿광대’는 장르의 여성성 강조로 창조적인 확장성을 강화할 수 있었다.
