The present study purported to develop a Taekwondo Dojang selection attribute scale applicable to generation MZ Taekwondo practitioners who are expanding their influence in the growth of the sports market based on relevant prior studies. For the study purpose achievement, a convenience sampling method was used to surveyed 300 generation MZ Taekwondo practitioners registered at one of the 10 Taekwondo Dojangs in Ulsan and Busan areas from January to February 2023. After excluding 5 responses with excessive numbers of missing items, a total of 295 (96.3%) responses were included in the present study for the final data analysis. Using SPSSWIN 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 programs, descriptive statistical analysis, exploratory factor and confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis were used to acomplish the purpose of this study. The results show that internal and external facilities, instructor competency, and cost were derived as the Taekwondo Dojang selection attributes that generation MZ Taekwondo practitioners consider important. Therefore, the Taekwondo Dojang selection attributes of generation MZ Taekwondo practitioners found in the current study not only enhance Taekwondo Dojang operators' understanding of generation MZ practitioners who are expanding their influence in the related industries but also provide a scale with reliability and validity that can be applied to future research on their participation behavior.

본 연구의 목적은 태권도장 선택속성과 관련된 선행연구들을 토대로 스포츠 시장성장에 있어 영향력을 확대하고 있는 MZ세대 태권도 수련자들에게 적용 가능한 태권도장 선택속성 척도를 개발하는데 있다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 유목적 표집방법(purposive sampling method)을 이용하여 울산과 부산 지역의 태권도장 10개소 중 한 곳에 등록 된 MZ세대 태권도 수련자 300명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 2023년 1월부터 2월까지 300부의 설문지가 배포되어 회수되었으며, 회수된 설문지 중 응답 내용의 일부가 누락된 5부를 제외한 총 295(98.3%)부의 자료를 SPSSWIN 23.0 과 AMOS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술적 통계분석 및 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 그리고 확인적 요인분석을 실행 하였다. 도출된 연구결과에 따르면, MZ세대 태권도 수련자들이 중요하게 고려하는 태권도장 선택속성으로는 내외부시 설, 지도자역량, 비용이 도출되었다. 결론적으로, 해당 연구의 결과가 제시하는 MZ세대 수련자의 태권도장 선택속성은 관련 산업에 있어 영향력을 확대해 나가고 있는 이들 MZ세대 수련자들이 중요하게 고려하는 요인들에 대한 태권도장 운영자들의 이해도를 높일 뿐만 아니라 향후 MZ세대 수련자들의 만족도와 참여행동 연구에 적용할 수 있도록 신뢰도와 타당도가 높은 태권도장 선택속성 척도를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.
