This study aimed to identify the essence of job-seeking stress experienced by college students majoring in specialized fields after the outbreak of COVID-19. To achieve this, we conducted in-depth interviews with 10 male and female college students majoring in specialized fields at K-college located in Gyeonggi-do from March 7 to May 6, 2022, for approximately two months, collecting data related to job-seeking stress experience after the COVID-19 outbreak. The collected data were analyzed using Colaizzi's phenomenological methodology. The research results were divided into five topic clusters: "Anxiety about job prospects," "Resentment about college life during the pandemic," "Uncertainty and optimism about social phenomena," "Pressure from expectations of others," and "Physical discomfort." Most participants experienced job-seeking stress due to COVID-19 in a negative and anxious manner. Therefore, the development and application of programs to reduce job-seeking stress are necessary.

본 연구는 코로나 19 발생 이후 전문대학의 전공심화 학생을 대상으로 취업스트레스 경험에 대한 본질을 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위 해 경기도에 소재한 K전문대학 전공심화에 재학 중인 남녀 대학생 10명을 대상으로, 2022년 3월7일부터 5월 6일까지 약 2달 동안 심층 면담을 통하여 코로나 19발생 이후 취업스트레스 경험에 관련한 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 콜라찌의 현상학적방법론을 이용 하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, ‘취업이 잘 될지 불안함’, ‘코로나 시기 대학생활이 원망스러움’.‘사회현상에 대한 불안·낙관’, ‘주변의 기 대가 부담스러움’, ‘신체적 불편감이 나타남 등 총 5개의 주제군으로 나눌 수 있었다. 참여자들은 행동 및 성격유형과 상관없이 코로나 19로 인한 취업 스트레스를 부정적 그리고 불안함으로 경험하고 있었다. 그러므로 취업 스트레스를 경감시키기 위한 프로그램 개발 및 적용이 필요하다.
