The Moderated mediating effect of Job efficacy in relation of Resilience and Organizational health on Burnout of Youth workers

This paper aims to analyze the moderated mediating effect of job efficacy in the relation of youth workers' resilience and organizational health on burnout. The subjects of this study were 234 youth workers working in 81 youth activity facilities and youth institutions in Daegu and Gyeongbuk. The period of investigation is from June to September 2022. The results derived from this study are as follows. First, the higher the resilience of youth workers, the lower the burnout. Second, the higher the resilience of the youth workers, the higher the perceived organizational health of the youth workers. Third, it was found that organizational health played a mediating role in the effect of resilience of youth workers on burnout. Fourth, it was found that job efficacy played a moderating role in the effect of youth workers' perception of organizational health on burnout. Considering that organizational health and job efficacy act as important protective factors in preventing burnout of youth workers, in the future, smooth communication with in the organization and fostering a sense of community as well as youth workers' confidence and sense of challenge can be felt. Efforts such as assigning tasks are believed to be helpful in preventing youth workers from burnout.
