COVID-19 effects on everyone’s everyday life. It also changes almost everything in church ministry, especially faith of each individuals. Because of government policy of Social distancing, Prohibition of assembly, and Self-isolation, church could not worship together in sanctuary. Church should prepare and face up the on-line worship, which they never try to. Effects of COVID-19 also changes the circumstance of families. Family members should stay together at home during the period of COVID-19, they should do together almost every good and bad things, including eudcational activities annd worship. Some reports said this changing was new and big stress factors of family, others said it was a chance to reconsider and develop family relationship. Bible emphizes the role of family, especailly parents, in educational ministry and faith development at home. Before the era of COVID-19, churches of South Korea thought the role of church and pastor is more important than parents on children and youth ministry. The changing of family relationship because of COVID-19 could give a chance to re-think the role of parents and family on faith development of children and youth. Nowadays, Korean churches undergo the hard time to run Sunday School, and transmission of faith to a growing generation. In this situation, it would be helpful to the church and parents to investigate the changing of family relationship for finding alternatives of educational ministry. This research reviews current situation of families and church. Also, previous studies of methods of educational ministry would be overviewed. It would introduce and suggest “Family Ministry” as a alternative educational ministry for churches and families.

코로나19는 일상생활의 많은 부분과, 신앙 생활에 까지도 영향을 미쳤다. 사회적 거리두기와 자가격리로 인한 인간 관계의 변화와, 공적 예배에 참석하기 어려운 상황 때문에, 비대면 예배라는 새로운 환경을 맞이하게 되었다. 이러한 변화는 가족 관계에 도 큰 영향을 미치게 된다. 가족이 한 공간에서 살아간다는 특성상, 감염이 되어도 함 께 되고, 격리도 함께 한다. 비대면 예배의 경우 가족끼리 함께 시청하는 경우도 많이 생겼다. 이렇게 가족 간에 함께 하는 시간과 경험이 비약적으로 늘어나면서 이 상황 이 부부 사이, 부모 자녀 사이에도 변화를 촉진시키기에 충분하였다. 자녀의 신앙교육에 관련해서 성경은 부모의 역할을 중요하게 설명한다. 이전까지 교회교육이 부모보다는 교회와 교역자 위주로 이루어졌음을 고려한다면, 코로나19로 인한 이러한 변화는 자녀의 신앙교육에 있어서 가정의 역할 증대라는 긍정적 영향을 기대할 수 있는 기회가 될 가능성이 있다. 특히 주일학교가 어려움을 겪고, 신앙 전수 의 실패라는 이야기가 심심치 않게 들리는 현재 상황에서 이 변화가 자라나는 세대의 신앙교육의 방식을 재점검하며 새로운 방식을 모색하는 기회가 될 수 있다. 본 연구는 코로나19로 인한 가족관계에 변화를 자료조사를 통하여 밝히고, 그 결과 가 자녀의 신앙교육에 미치는 영향을 고찰하고자 한다. 또한, 현재까지 코로나19의 교 육 목회적 상황을 극복하기 위한 대안들을 제시한 선행 연구들을 검토하고, 또 다른 대안으로서 교회의 목회적 방향을 전환하는 Family Ministry를 제안하고자 한다.
