In Korean churches, due to COVID-19, there are many missing Christians who have not returned to the church. How do Korean churches let them come back to the worship place and preach the gospel to those who are not accustomed to visual and auditorial surroundings such as online worship service? How does the Church let them pay attention to the Bible as the primary text of Christian spirituality? In addition, new heresies challenge their suspicious interpretations of biblical texts. In this situation, how do local churches teach the right Bible reading based on the two thousand church traditions to their members? This is also one of the present tasks of Christian education. Today, there are many ways to read the Bible. However, I will highlight two radical wrong ways. One is abstract and speculative theological intellectualism which does not have a good effect on life and praxis. The other radical is blind literalism without any help of theological methods and consideration of the situation. This focuses on each interpretation of the text and creates confusion. Avoiding extremities, are there any dynamic Bible readings on the Christian tradition? We might lose the Lectio Divina based on the Bible, especially the Old Testament and the New Testament, which is also from Origen as an early father. Thus, this study will answer the questions above and introduce Lectio Divina which is the oldest traditional Christian Bible reading and try to apply that to the Christian educational fields of churches. The structure of the study is as follows; First of all, in chapter I, I will introduce the present situation of post-COVID-19 and Lectio Divina for the intention of the study. In chapter II, I will explore the Lectio Divina in more detail such as its definition and its origin in the Bible. I will also explore the historical approach to the interpretation of the Bible and patterns of Bible reading from Origen to Guigo II in church history. In addition, I will find the detailed cultivating methods of Lectio Divina and their application to prayer such as Jesus Prayer, Centering Prayer, and Derivative Prayer. In chapter III, I will explain the answer to the concerning question about Lectio Divina from the Korean Church and its theological and Christian educational meanings. For the practical application, in chapter IV, I will offer several suggestions for the Church educational fields. Finishing this thesis, in chapter V, I will summarize the study and find the meanings and limitation, and suggest the task for the study for the future.

코로나로 인하여 온라인 예배에 익숙해진 교인들이 여전히 돌아오지 않고 있다. 입체적인 음향과 시각에 길들여진 이들에게 어떻게 하면 교회는 그들의 발걸음을 예 배당으로 되돌리고, 또한 그들에게 복음을 전할 수 있을까? 이 천년 기독교 영성의 일차적인 텍스트인 성경으로 어떻게 그들의 관심을 다시 가져오며, 바른 성경읽기를 전할 수 있을 것인가? 오늘날 참으로 다양한 성경읽기의 방법들이 전해지고 있다. 그러나 그 중에는 두 가지의 극단적인 잘못된 예가 있다. 하나는 신학적 주지주의에 너 무 치중한 나머지 삶과 실천에는 전혀 선한 영향력을 끼치지 못하는 추상적이고 사변 적인 방법이다. 또 다른 극단은 상황적 고려와 신학의 도움 없이 우의적인 각자의 해 석에 치중한 나머지 혼란을 초래하는 맹목적 문자주의적 방법이다. 이 양극단을 피하 며, 기독교 전통 속에서 찾을 수 있는 역동적인 성경읽기의 방법은 없는가? 우리는 어쩌면 신구약 성경에 근거하고, 교부시대 오리겐(Origen) 이후 교회의 오랜 성경읽기 전통인 렉시오 디비나(Lectio Divina)를 잊고 있었는지 모른다. 이에 본 연구는 위에서 제기한 질문들에 답하며, II장에서는 기독교의 오랜 전통적 성경읽기인 렉치오 디비나에 대한 개괄적 소개로 정의와 성경적 기원, 역사, 방법, 기도적 응용을 살펴보고, III장에서는 렉시오 디비나의 신학적, 기독교교육학적 의의를 알아볼 것이다. 특별히 IV장에서는 렉시오 디비나의 교회현장의 실천을 위한 기독교 교육적 적용을 시도하려 한다. 첫 번째, 교육신학의 화두인 복음 내지는 신앙이라는 구조를 어떻게 기독교교육이라는 과정을 통해 담아낼 수 있을까하는 문제에 대하여 렉시오 디비나는 성서학자들의 석의적인 신학적 해석, 즉 이성적 접근너머 각자의 기 도자가 신앙이라는 유비로서 접근하는 방법임을 전하려 한다. 두 번째, 기독교교육방 법론에 있어서 렉시오 디비나는 기도자 내지는 학습자 스스로가 종교적 상상력과 경 험을 통해 깨달을 수 있으므로 렉시오 디비나의 기도방법이 기독교교육의 마리아 해 리스(Maria Harris)가 주장하는 종교적 상상력을 활용한 방법에 해당하는 것임을 제 언하려 한다. 세 번째, 기독교교육과정에 있어서 렉시오 디비나는 내재적(implicit) 교 육과정에 해당함을 살펴보며, 또한 오감을 통한 말씀의 묵상, 더 나아가 창조세계로의 관상을 통해 심미적 교육과정으로 이어짐을 알아보려 한다. 마지막 네 번째, 렉시오 디비나는 교사-학생의 관계에 있어 학생이 능동적 참여자로 교사와 학생, 그리고 눈 에 보이지 않지만 가르침과 배움의 공간에서 도우시는 성령님으로 말미암아 교사와 학생이 ‘공동의’ 관상자, 구도자로 함께 하는 교육의 장을 연다는 의의를 찾아볼 것이다.
