This research paper examines the methodology of how to make theological reflections when writing a case report on Christian(pastoral) counseling. As a member of the clinical committee of the Korean Pastoral Counseling Association for many years, I have read numerous case reports from Christian(pastoral) counselors. Their most difficult task was how to interpret their counseling theologically. Christian(pastoral) counselors are professionals who work in a wide range of areas that cross the realms of diocesan counseling, care, and psychotherapy, based on the spirit of pastoral care that practices God's love. Counseling within a general societal context geared towards the public is more complex than counseling within the church because theological reflection is often more difficult. Both the client and the counselor can make a personal confession of faith that they "felt God's love" or that they were used as a "channel of God's grace” through counseling. In practice, however, there may not be any mention of God in the course of the consultation, and topics related to Christian doctrine are often not discussed. Therefore, appropriately utilizing the language of theological reflection for counseling case reports is not easy. Therefore, this paper will attempt to target this difficulty by making suggestions on the theological reflection methodology. First, I will propose Dennis Edward's methodology for interpreting the human experience through God. Second, I will use Pamela Cooper White’s theological understanding of humanity to interpret the significance of the counselor's theological anthropology of the client. Third, I will explore Howard Clinebell's proposal for a methodology that can reflect on the client's counseling goals and life direction from the perspective of holistic health. The most important purpose of Christian (pastoral) counseling is to practice God's love and to practice pastoral care where that love can be transmitted. I will conclude this paper with the hope that this practice of God's love will be a helpful thesis that can be well expressed in theological reflection.

이 연구 논문은 기독(목회)상담 사례 보고서의 신학적 성찰을 위한 방법론을 연구 하는 논문이다. 필자는 오랫동안 목회상담협회 임상위원으로 활동하면서 많은 상담사 들의 기독(목회) 상담사례보고서를 읽어보았다. 그런데 상담사들이 보고서 작성 중 가 장 어려워하는 부분이 상담을 어떻게 신학적으로 해석하는가에 관한 것이었다. 기독 (목회) 상담사는 하나님의 사랑을 실천하는 목회 돌봄의 정신을 근간으로 교구 상담, 혹은 돌봄, 심리치료의 영역을 넘나드는 광범위한 돌봄의 장을 가지고 활동하는 전문 가들이다. 교회 내 상담실에서 진행하는 상담의 경우는 조금 다르지만, 기독(목회) 상 담사의 정체성을 가지고 사회 속에서 일반인 대상 상담을 진행하는 경우에는 신학적 성찰의 어려움을 느끼는 경우가 더 많다. 내담자나 상담사 모두 상담 경험을 통해서 ‘하나님의 사랑을 느꼈다’라거나 ‘하나님의 은혜의 통로’로 사용되어 좋았다는 개인적 인 신앙고백을 할 수 있다. 그러나 실제로 상담의 내용 속에서는 하나님에 관한 언급을 하지 않는 경우도 있고, 기독교적인 교리와 관련된 주제가 전혀 논의되지 않는 사 례도 있다. 그러다보니 이런 상담의 내용을 기독(목회)상담 사례 보고서 양식에 따라 신학적으로 성찰하는 것이 쉽지 않다. 따라서 이번 논문에서는 이런 어려움을 돕기 위해서 기독(목회)상담의 신학적 성찰방법론에 대한 새로운 제언들을 시도해볼 것이 다. 우선 첫 번째로 데니스 에드워드(Dennis Edward)의 인간경험을 통한 하나님 체 험의 신학을 신학적 방법론으로 제언할 것이다. 두 번째는 파멜라 쿠퍼 화이트 (Pamela Cooper White)의 신학적 인간 이해를 통해서 내담자를 바라보는 상담자의 신학적 인간학에 관한 의의를 주장하려고 한다. 세 번째는 하워드 클라인벨(Howard Clinebell)의 전인건강의 관점에서 내담자의 상담 목표와 삶의 방향성을 제언해보고자 한다. 기독(목회)상담의 가장 중요한 목적은 하나님의 사랑을 실천하고, 그 사랑이 전 달될 수 있는 목회 돌봄의 실천이 되어야한다는 것이다. 이런 하나님 사랑의 실천이 신학적 성찰로 잘 표현될 수 있도록 도움이 되는 논문이 되기를 희망하며 이 논문을 마칠 것이다.
