본 연구는 지역아동센터 이용 아동을 위한 “카혼” 교육프로그램의 활성화방안을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 2020학년도 대전광역시 지역아동센터 카혼 음악프로그램 운영 현황 을 바탕으로 프로그램을 재구성하여 그 대안을 마련해보았다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 신체 소 근육 운동과 쉬운 동요나 민요연주로 소통과 협동심 향상에 도움을 주었고, 둘째, 감수 성회복과 심미성 향상에 도움을 주었으며, 셋째, 다문화 아동을 대상으로 한 “카혼” 교육에서는 서로의 문화를 이해하는데 도움이 되는 동질감향상 효과를 나타냈다. 넷째, 해외민속악기 “카 혼” 앙상블 교육 프로그램에 자발적인 참여를 통한 흥미유발 효과와 해외민속 문화의 이해 또 다른 효과로는 앙상블연주를 통한 자존감향상 및 관계개선의 효능성이 유의미한 결과로 나타났 다. 다섯째, 단순기능위주의 수업을 벗어나 동기유발을 위한 수업을 연구하였다. 따라서 지역아 동센터의 다문화 음악프로그램에 대한 연구개발이 부족한 현실에서 본 연구가 지역아동센터 ” 카혼” 음악프로그램을 배경으로 다문화 음악교육에 실제적 도움이 되길 기대한다.
