The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of Janghongsim-ryu Bara Seungmu. As a research method, as there were few specific prior studies on the Janghong-sim-ryu Bara Seung-mu, the contents of the papers interviewed by Sang Uk-son with Lee Seong-ja were mainly referenced. Although Jang Hom-sim-ryu Bara Seung-mu is differentiated and has rarity and originality, research is insignificant, so we examine the background of Jang Hong-shim's life, performance activities, and dance formation. and Characteristics of Bara Seungmu's dance moves, characteristics of music, characteristics of robes and weapons, artistic characteristics and aesthetic characteristics were studied. As a result of the research on Jang Hong-shim Bara Seungmu, first, it is a traditional dance that contains the dance world of the teacher Han Seong-jun. Second, it is a dance with a very high scarcity value in terms of composition. Third, artistic characteristics include the cool and straight dance form and crude expression expressed in naturalness. Fourth, the aesthetic characteristics are the beauty of simplicity and the beauty of restraint that emanate from Bara Seungmu. Discovering works of Seungmu of various choreography is a very necessary and meaningful work in the history of dance. Special works such as Jang Hong-Shim Ryu Bara Seung-Mu should provide an opportunity to be reborn through continuous research.

본 연구는 장홍심류 바라승무의 특징을 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구방법으로는 장홍심류 바라승무에 대한 구체적인 선행연구가 미미하여 손상욱이 이성자와 인터뷰 등의 논문 내용을 주로 참고하였으며 학술논문, 출판 서적 등을 활용하여 바라승무의 특징을 살펴보았다. 장홈심 류 바라승무가 차별화되고 희귀성과 독창성을 가지고 있으나 연구가 미미하여 장홍심의 삶과 공연활동, 춤의 형성 배경을 살펴보고 또 바라승무 춤사위의 특징, 음악의 특징, 무복과 무구의 특징, 예술적 특징과 미적 특징을 연구하였다. 장홍심 바라승무에 관한 연구결과로는 첫째, 스 승이신 한성준의 춤 세계가 내포된 재인 계통의 춤이다. 둘째, 구성적인 측면에서 희소가치가 매우 높은 춤이다. 셋째, 예술적인 특징은 자연스러움에서 표출된 시원시원한 직선적인 춤 형태 와 투박한 표현력을 들 수 있다. 넷째, 미적 특징은 바라승무에서 풍기는 담백의 미와 절제미가 있다. 다양한 안무의 승무 작품을 발굴하는 것은 무용사적으로 매우 필요한 일이며 의미 있는 작업이다. 장홍심류 바라승무와 같이 특별한 작품들은 지속적인 연구를 통해 재탄생되는 기회 를 마련해야 한다.
