The purpose of this study is to derive the characteristics of the Fan Sanjo in Cho heung-dong. The methods on literature research and video were applied to analyze the Fan Sanjo in Cho heung-dong and derive its characteristics. As a result, first, the storyline of the gayageum melody and the dance movement that rides the rhythm flow is achieved. Second, the technique of using a Fan Sanjo is diverse, and the use of the wrist makes a curve for the Fan Sanjo. Third, the danced by breathing connected to the hand as one. Fourth, the body is twisted and the direction of the body is changed as the foot steps are twisted and crossed. Fifth, when you turn around and unfold, it becomes the shape of a assorted foot. Sixth, split the beat and step on it and ride the flow of the rhythm. Seventh, the shape of holding and opening both hands brings out the beauty of a feminine curve like a Taegeuk pattern. Eighth, the Jajinmori rhythm is characterized by the expression of a dance move that holds breath in a fast rhythm.

이 연구는 조흥동 부채산조의 춤사위 특징을 도출하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 문헌연구방법과 영상분석을 적용하여 조흥동 부채산조 춤사위를 분석하고 그 특징을 도출하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 가야금 선율과 장단 흐름을 타는 춤동작의 기승전결이 이루어지며, 둘째, 부채를 사용하는 기교가 다채롭고, 손목사용으로 부채도 곡선을 만 들었다. 셋째, 부채가 손과 하나로 연결된 호흡으로 추어지며, 넷째, 발 디딤을 꼬아 교차하면서 몸통이 틀어지고 몸의 방향이 달라진다. 다섯째, 방향을 틀어 부채를 펼 때 모듬발 형태가 되며, 여섯째, 박자를 쪼개서 발을 딛으 며 장단의 흐름을 탄다. 일곱째, 부채를 들고 양손을 여민 모양이 마치 태극무늬처럼 여성스러운 곡선의 미를 살 리며, 여덟째, 자진모리장단에서는 빠른 장단에 호흡을 머금는 춤사위의 표현이 특징이다. 현재 산조춤의 전개와 흐름에 부합하여 우리 전통춤의 무대화된 미적 예술성을 고찰하고, 전통춤의 흐름을 되짚어보는 이 연구결과가 향후 춤사위 분석에 있어 우리춤의 현장성 연구뿐만 아니라 문헌자료로 실질적인 자료가 되기를 기대한다.
