This study is a series of studies on a person who thinks while walking, that is, a 'walker' who can be called 'Homo Flaneur'. Research on 'street walkers' has been actively explored, focusing on Walter Benjamin's theory of street walkers in Paris, a large city in the 19th century, based on Baudelaire's poetic motif. The subject of this study, named 'Walker of Eco-Affinity', was developed by extending the theory of 'city walker', which was specialized as an physiognomy methodology of urban space by Benjamin, to natural spaces outside of urban civilization. It was carried out through research on the concept of 'Walker of Eco-Affinity' and 'Dwelling in Eco-Affinity'. This study, from a different perspective from previous studies, critically analyzes the nature of the task of modern environmental aesthetics, which was born as an environmental shift in aesthetics in the mid-20th century, and the direction of discourse toward positivity, and focuses on Adorno's theory of natural beauty. Thus, it is intended to establish negative dialectical environmental aesthetics. In addition, it aims to present an educational practice direction for Walker of Eco-Affinity on the theoretical basis of a new direction of environmental aesthetics.

본 연구는 걸으면서 생각하는 사람, 즉 ‘호모 플라뇌르(Homo Flaneur)’라 불러도 좋을 ‘산책하는 사람’에 관한 일련의 연구이다. ‘거 리 산책자’에 관한 연구는 보들레르의 시적 모티브를 바탕으로 한 발 터 벤야민의 19세기 대도시 파리의 거리 산책자에 관한 이론을 중심으 로 활발하게 탐구되어 왔다. ‘생태 친화적 산책자’로 명명되는 이 연구 의 주제는 벤야민에 의해서 도시 공간의 인상학적 방법론으로 특화된 ‘도시 산책자’의 이론을 도시 문명 밖의 자연 공간으로 확장하여 전개 되었으며, 최근까지 시민구제를 위한 ‘생태 친화적 산책자’의 개념 연 구, ‘생태 친화적 거주함으로서의 산책’ 연구 등으로 수행되었다. 이번 연구는 기존의 연구와 다른 관점에서, 20세기 중반에 미학의 환경론적 전환으로 태동한 현대 환경미학의 과제 성격과 긍정주의로 향하는 담 론의 방향을 비판적으로 분석하고, 아도르노의 자연미 이론을 중심으 로 하여 부정변증법적 환경미학을 정초하고자 한다. 아울러, 새로운 방 향의 환경미학의 이론적 토대 위에서 생태 친화적 산책자의 교육적 실 천 방향을 제시하는 것을 목표로 한다.
