Daedeok Innoplis has been evolved from Daedeok Science Town to Daedeok Innovation Cluster, so called, Daedeok Innopolis focused on the technology commercialization in addition to the networking of innovation actors such as university, research institute and firm. Now Daedaok Innopolis is one of the foundation for International Science & Business Belt. Another role of Daedeok Innopolis is the infrastructure for Creative Economy in Korea. Now is the time for DaeDeok Innopolis to be the real infrastructure for Creative Economy by combining imagination, creativity with science and technology for the creation of new industry in addition to enhancement of existing industry. This paper studies the DaeDeok Innopolis as an infrastructure for Creative Economy and scrutinized the success cases of industry-academia collaboration of the firm in DaeDeok Innopolis. For the successful infrastructure for Creative Economy, The Strategy of Daedeok Innopolis should be as follows; Firstly, 3T(Technology, Talent, Tolerance culture) should be prepared. Secondly, step-by-step supporting program for SMEs should be made. Thirdly, enhancement of financial services such as venture capital & investment for SMEs should be made.

대덕연구개발특구는 지속적으로 변모하고 있다. 초기 연구중심의 대덕연구단지에서 연구결과물이 사업화 를 중심으로하는 연구개발특구로 변화하였으며, 더 나아가 기초과학연구와 이를 사업화하는 기초과학비즈니 스벨트 조성에 기반이 되었다. 변화하고 있는 대덕연구개발특구에 또 다른 역할이 있다. 바로 창조경제의 전 진기지 역할이다. 40년간 국가경제를 이끌어온 대덕연구개발특구는 기존의 인프라를 상상력과 창의성을 과 학기술과 융합하여, 기존의 산업을 강화뿐만 아니라 새로운 산업을 창조하는 기반역할을 해야 할 때이다. 본 연구는 대덕연구개발특구를 창조경제인프라로서 보았으며, 특히 기업을 중심으로 다양한 혁신주체간의 협력 의 성공사례를 살펴보았다. 대덕연구개발특구가 창조경제인프라로서 발전하기 위해 고려해야할 요인으로 창 조경제 생태계 조성을 위한 3T의 확보, 기업의 단계적 육성 지원 프로그램 강화, 기업의 금융지원 강화 및 투자기회 확보 환경 조성이 필요하다.
