This paper studied Kim Hye-soon’s poetry from the perspective of ‘heterotopia’. It reveals the relationship between the inner surface and space of the poetic subject. Therefore, we have studied how the anxiety and change of the subject of Kim Hye-soon’s poem are expressed in ‘home’ and ‘grave.’ The poetic subject intentionally undermines the ‘house’ or attempts to overthrow the relationship, which forms an order into another space. At this time, it shows destructive and sudden imagination. This creates a location in the marginalized and erased female voice. The will of the subject toward a new space is created through ‘home’. Kim Hye-soon changes the foundation of traditional time through ‘grave,’ which shows the fate and pain of the woman’s body. It brings back the dead body time and shows the woman’s experience as it is. Through this, it refutes the mythological ideology. This attempt is to pray for the new birth of a woman’s body and to wish to become an active subject that creates an existing space. Through the discussions so far, it has been possible to read the will of the subject to de-territorialize and recover his subjectivity, breaking away from the male-centered order. This will broaden the horizon of discussion on the space of Kim Hye-soon. Furthermore, it is hoped that it will help to view women’s poetry from a heterotopic perspective.

본고는 김혜순의 시를 미셸 푸코의 ‘헤테로토피아’적 관점으로 살펴보고 시 적 주체의 내면과 공간의 연관성을 밝히고 있다. 이에 김혜순 시의 주체가 지닌 불안과 변화가 ‘집’과 ‘묘지(무덤)’의 헤테로토피아로 어떻게 발현되고 있는지를 살펴보았다. 시적 주체는 ‘집’을 의도적으로 훼손하거나 관계성의 전복을 시도하며 ‘다른 공간’으로의 질서를 형성하고자 한다. 이로 인해 주변화되고 소거된 여성의 목 소리에 위치를 생성해준다. ‘차이’를 통해 개척하고, 새로운 공간을 지향하는 의지가 ‘집’을 반(反)장소화하며 저항하는 주체로 자리매김한다. 또, ‘무덤’을 통해 전통적인 시간을 이질화하고 역설의 순간을 만들어낸다. 이는 전통적인 시간을 단절하며 유한한 몸의 시간을 되살려내거나 시적 주체가 겪고 있는 여성의 경 험을 있는 그대로 펼침으로써 신화화된 이데올로기에 반박한다. 결국 여성의 몸, 어머니로서의 몸이 새롭게 탄생하길 기원하고, 실존의 공간을 만드는 능동 적 주체가 되길 염원하는 의지의 반영이라 할 수 있다. 위 논의를 통해 남성이 규정한 공간적 질서로부터 주체성을 회복하여 탈영토 화하려는 주체의 의지를 읽어낼 수 있다. 이것이 김혜순 시의 공간에 대한 논의 의 지평을 넓히고, 여성시를 헤테로토피아적 관점으로 바라보는 데 일조하길 기대한다.
