In 1922, as a result of the integration movement of independence movement groups in the southern Manchuria region, the Korean Unification Ministry was organized. In imperialist Japan, the Daehantonguibu was recognized as the most threatening and dangerous independence movement organization at the time. The group's most active independence movement was fundraising and armed struggle. In this article, among the military fundraising activities of the Daehantonguibu, examples of military fundraising in the domestic region were identified. In particular, it was said that it was a domestic activity after 1925, when the Ministry of Unification Affairs was progressively resolved, and the Japanese authorities were also in a very embarrassing position. Therefore, it was also named the ‘Jeonbuk Tonguibu’ incident. In June 1928, while the Singanhoe movement was actively developing nationwide, the ‘Jeonbuk Tonguibu’ incident, which occurred in Iri, Jeonju, and Gimje, Jeollabuk-do, was an independence movement that the Japanese authorities paid great attention to. This 'Jeonbuk Tonguibu' incident was a glimpse into the fact that the Daehantonguibu, which was active in Manchuria around 1925, maintained its name and developed an independence movement even after the developmental dissolution of the three departments, Jeonguibu and Chamuibu. Jo In-hyeon, the protagonist of the 'Jeonbuk Tonguibu Incident', raised military funds while building a human network in the Jeonbuk region for a relatively long time. In particular, he converted the proceeds from the sale of land into military funds, and also established a plan to manufacture bombs in Korea with the military funds. However, in the process of raising military funds, he was captured by the Japanese police and failed to achieve his intended goal. This incident is seen as a representative example of an independence movement organization in Manchuria related to domestic military fundraising in the late 1920s.

1922년 남만주지역의 독립운동단체 통합운동의 결실로 대한통의부가 조직 되었다. 제국주의 일본에서는 대한통의부를 당시 가장 위협적이며 위험한 독 립운동단체로 인식할 정도였다. 이 단체의 가장 활발한 독립운동은 군자금 모금과 무장 투쟁이었다. 이 글에서는 대한통의부의 군자금 모금 활동 가운 데 국내지역 군자금 모금의 실례를 규명하였다. 특히 대한통의부가 발전적으 로 해소되었던 1925년 이후의 국내 활동이었다는데 일제 당국에서도 아주 곤 혹스러운 입장이었다. 따라서 명칭도 ‘전북통의부’ 사건으로 명명하였던 것이다. 1928년 6월 전국적으로 신간회운동이 활발하게 전개되고 있던 상황에서 전 라북도 이리와 전주, 김제지역 등을 연고로 발생한 ‘전북통의부’ 사건은 일제 당국이 크게 주목한 독립운동이었다. 이 ‘전북통의부’ 사건은 1925년경 만주 에서 활동했던 대한통의부가 삼부 가운데 정의부와 참의부로 발전적 해체를 한 이후에도 명칭을 유지하면서 독립운동을 전개하였던 사실을 엿 볼 수 있 는 것이었다. 조인현은 전북지역에 비교적 오랫동안 인적네트워크를 구축하면서 군자금 모금을 진행하였다. 특히 토지매각 대금을 군자금으로 전환하였으며, 이 군자 금으로 국내에서 폭탄을 제조하려는 계획도 수립했다. 하지만 군자금 모금 과정에서 일제 경찰에 피체되어 소기의 목적을 거두지는 못했다. 이 사건은 1920년대 후반 국내 군자금 모금 관련 만주지역 독립운동단체의 대표적 사례 라고 보여 진다.
