This study aims to confirm the Woojeong Collection of the National Library of Korea according to the life-specific activities of Aranami Heijiro who was a modern Japanese educator and the library head in modern Busan, and to understand its characteristics. For this study, empirical data were collected, compared and analyzed from the Woojeong Collection established by the National Library of Korea in July 2022 along with literature surveys and archives of libraries and local, modern newspapers and the documentary data of Japanese colonial administration regarding Aranami Heijiro. As a result, I was identified his life-specific activities and collection. I confirmed his favorite and true (Aedokseo and Jinseo) collection, the most left the Collection Seals (Jangseoin) and the scribes he recorded in the collection (Mukseo), his life-specific collection. In addition, he was able to find modern intellectuals in the Japanese Enlightenment period and the Emperor system in Woojeong Collection, along with the negative behavior of transitioning our modern opening period to Japanese colonial era in modern education and library.

본 연구는 근대 일어교육자 및 부산 도서관장이었던 荒浪平治郞의 생애별 행적에 따라 국립중앙도서관의 우정문고 장서를 확인하고, 그 특징을 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 그와 관련한 문헌조사 및 도서관과 지역의 아카이브, 근대신문, 통감부와 조선총독부 자료 등과 함께 국립중앙도서관이 2022년 7월에 설치한 우정문고에 서 실증적 자료를 수집하여 대조 및 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과 그의 생애별 행적과 그의 장서를 파악하였다. 그리고 그의 애독서(愛讀書)와 진서(珍書), 가장 많이 남겨진 장서인(藏書印)과 묵서(墨書), 생애별 묵서 등을 확인하였다. 이외에도 그가 근대 교육과 도서관에 있어서 우리의 근대 개항기를 일제강점기로 이행시킨 부정적인 행위와 함께 우정문고에서 일본 계몽기와 천황제에서의 근대지식인의 모습도 찾아볼 수 있었다.
