The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among the instructor’s coaching competency, customer loyalty and exercise adherence of golf users, as well as investigating the mediating effect of customer loyalty on the relationship between instructor’s coaching competency and exercise adherence. To this end, it collected the sample of a total of 241 golf users, by using the convenience sampling of the population of users enrolled in a private golf academy, and a total of 236 copies of data were used in the final analysis. Frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlations analysis and structural equation model analysis were executed using SPSS Statistics 21 and AMOS 21. The results are as follows. First, the coaching competency was found to have a significant effect on the customer loyalty. Second, the coaching competency has no significant effect on the exercise adherence. Third, the customer loyalty has a significant effect on the exercise adherence. Lastly, the customer loyalty has a mediating(complete) effect on the relationship between the coaching competency and the exercise adherence.

본 연구는 골프지도자의 코칭역량과 이용자의 고객 애호도 및 운동지속의사의 관계, 그리고 코칭역량과 운동지 속의사의 관계에서 고객 애호도의 매개효과를 구명하는 데 목적이 있었다. 이를 위해 2022년 수도권(서울, 경기)의 골 프아카데미 이용자를 모집단으로 편의표집방법을 이용하여 표본을 수집하였으며, 총 241부의 설문지를 회수하였다. 최종분석에는 총 236명의 자료를 이용하였으며, 통계프로그램 SPSS 21과 AMOS 21을 사용하여 연구목적에 따라 빈 도분석, 확인적 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석, 구조방정식모형분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 골프지도자의 코칭역량은 이용자의 고객 애호도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 골프지도자의 코칭역량은 이용자의 운동지 속의사에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 골프이용자의 고객 애호도는 운동지속의사에 영향을 미치는 것으 로 나타났다. 마지막으로 골프지도자의 코칭역량과 이용자의 운동지속의사의 관계에서 고객 애호도는 매개(완전)효과 가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
