This thesis is a study on the post-humanism revealed on the exhibition theme and composition of the 59th Venice Biennale. This attempt began when the debate about this biennale was focused on the bias of gender and nationality. In order to objectively evaluate this controversy, this thesis analyzed the planning intention, exhibition composition, and selected works of general director, Cecilia Alemani. Through this, it was examined whether Alemani's intention was effectively supported through the exhibition. As a result, it was derived that the exhibition composition centered on female artists in the past was an obstacle to revealing the post-humanism of the 21st century. It is hoped that this attempt will contribute to expanding the forum for discussion on the direction of the Venice Biennale in the 21st century.

이 논문은 제59회 베니스 비엔날레의 전시 주제와 구성에서 드러난 포스트휴머니즘에 대한 고찰이 다. 이러한 시도는 이번 비엔날레에 대한 논쟁이 성별과 국적의 편중성에 집중되었던 점에서 시작되었 다. 이러한 논쟁에 대한 객관적 평가를 위해 이 논문은 총감독 세실리아 알레마니의 기획 의도와 전시 구성, 선별 작품을 분석하였다. 이를 통해 알레마니의 기획 의도가 전시를 통해 효과적으로 뒷받침되었는지를 고찰하였다. 결과적으로 과거 여성 작가 중심의 전시 구성이 21세기적 관점의 포스 트휴머니즘을 드러내는 데 방해 요인이 되었음을 도출하였다. 이러한 고찰 시도가 향후 베니스 비엔날 레가 나아가야 할 방향에 대한 토론을 활성화하는 데 기여하길 기대한다.
