This study aims to explore the meaning and value of performing arts converged with technology using the ecosystem concept and actor network theory in the performing arts. This paper provides an overview of the performing arts ecosystem in social network perspective, which focuses on dynamic relationship between multi-actors including technology. Literature research was conducted based on papers, articles and cases in this field. In general, findings suggest the following: Firstly, the audiences in online form new value network through interaction with technology, as a result, the diversity and values are expanded. Secondly, this paper proposes a holistic perspective of public role in the ecosystem in terms of accessibility. Thirdly, the liveness concept of performing arts needs to be newly understood in audiences/users perspective as XR technologies integrate individual contexts and provide immersive experiences. Finally, this paper discusses the significance of the value network of audiences/users and indicates the topics for policy research in future.

본 논문은 오늘날 기술융합의 양상을 공연예술 생태계 내에서 조망하고 새롭게 형성되는 행 위 주체와 가치 네트워크를 고찰함으로써, 공연예술과 기술융합의 가능성과 이슈를 도출하 는 데 그 목적이 있다. 연구방법은 최근의 기술변화와 공연예술 담론들에 관한 논문과 사례, 기사와 보고서 등의 문헌연구를 기반으로 논증하였다. 연구를 통해 도출한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 소비영역의 관객이 온라인으로 연결되고 기술과의 상호작용을 통해 새로운 가치 네트워크를 형성함으로써 공연예술의 다양성과 의미가 확장된다. 둘째, 기술융합 공연예술 에 대한 정부의 지원과 정책이 공연예술 생태계 전체의 가치 흐름을 고려하고 예술의 사회 적 의미에 대한 홀리스틱한 관점과 비전을 제시해야 한다. 셋째, 최근 기술이 개인의 맥락과 환경을 통합하며 몰입 경험을 제공한다는 점에서 공연예술의 라이브니스 개념은 수용자 관 점에서 새롭게 이해될 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 초기 단계의 기술융합 공연예술 생태계와 가 치의 흐름을 모형으로 제시하고, 행위자 네트워크 이론을 근거로 의미를 도출했다는 점에서 의미가 있으며, 기술융합의 사회적 가치와 방향성을 제시함으로써 정책연구에서 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
