The purpose of this study was to analyze career education contents in the 2022 revised elementary school integrated curriculum. In order to achieve this purpose, the contents of integrated curriculum documents were analyzed using the ‘School Career Education Goals and Achievement Standards’ as the analysis standard. the main findings of this study are as follows. First, the education goals of the integrated subjects in 2022 were highly related to career education, and there were many achievement standards directly or indirectly related to work, job and career. However, it was somewhat biased in the areas of self understanding of career education, understanding of world of work, and career exploration. Second, the career education of the integrated curriculum in 2015, three achievement standards were presented under the single theme of ‘Our Village’, but in the career education of the integrate curriculum in 2022, four achievement standards were presented in various areas. Third, the career education of the integrated curriculum in 2022 was highly related to the career activities domain of the creative experiential activities curriculum, but lacked differentiation. In addition, the career education of the integrated curriculum lacked achievement standards in terms of work value and attitude. Fourth, career education in integrated curriculum and career education in the practical art education subjects in 2022 were related in content area of career education, but lacked connectivity and sequence between achievement standards. Based on the results of this study, a plan for activating career education in elementary integrated curriculum and systematizing elementary career education was proposed, and follow-up research was suggested.

이 연구의 목적은 2022년 개정 초등학교 통합교과 교육과정의 진로교육 내용을 분석하는 데에 있었 다. 이를 위하여 ‘학교 진로교육 목표와 성취기준’을 기준으로 삼아 교육과정 문서의 내용을 분석하였 다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2022년 통합교과 교육목표는 진로교육과 관련성이 높고, 일, 직업, 진로(교육)와 직접 또는 간접적으로 관련된 성취기준이 많았다. 다만, 진로교육의 자기 이해, 일 과 직업 세계 이해 및 진로 탐색 영역에 편중되었다. 둘째, 2015년 통합교과의 진로교육 내용은 ‘우리 마을’이라는 하나의 주제로 3개의 성취기준이 제시되었지만, 2022년 통합교과의 진로교육 내용은 여러 영역에 분산하여 4개의 성취기준이 제시되었다. 셋째, 2022년 통합교과의 진로교육은 창의적 체험활동 의 진로 활동과 연관성은 높았으나 그 차별성은 부족하였다. 또 통합교과의 진로교육은 일의 가치와 태도에 관한 성취기준이 부족하였다. 넷째, 2022년 통합교과 진로교육과 실과교과의 진로교육은 내용 영역의 관련성은 있지만, 성취기준 간의 연계성과 계열성이 부족하였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 하여, 초등 통합교과의 진로교육 활성화와 초등 진로교육 체계화를 위한 방안, 그리고 후속 연구를 제언하였다.
