This study aims to examine how individual subjects have kept the value of solidarity in their own way. It focused on five female workers who proclaimed Human Declaration at the labor sites of Dong-il Textile, Cheong-Gye Apparel Labor Union, and Wonpoong Wool Textile. To this end, it extracted the following five topics through first and second individual and group interviews and a coding procedure: We are Female Workers, Identity of Workers, Strengthened Subjects, Hospitality of Asymmetry, and Subject of Jouissance. Amid the massive panopticon of discrimination against women and labor exploitation sites, they obtained class identity as female workers and embraced wailing comrades through the hospitality of asymmetry, namely complete mutual trust and love revealed in the process. Those five female workers experienced jouissance as responsible Subjects through solidarity with others and devotion, although they were exposed to scars and their lives were painful. When others appeal in the form of a person trampled by political, economic, and social injustice, the Subject accepts and accepts him, and carries, loves, and serves on behalf of him, the Subject has the meaning of subjectivity. Responsible ethical relationships to others are not possible without the subjectivity of the Subject, that is, the establishment of self-awareness. The hospitality of asymmetry, through which they met a lamenting Jesus in the faces of alienated and distressed people, started from nearness. If one is not close to reality site, one cannot experience accepting others into one’s heart. There is a need to listen to various voices of individuals disbanded from a group that has become multisegmented and multistratified in a consumptive society. The reason is that the grace of God revealed through others in asymmetry cannot be experienced if one dost not visit and specifically listen to another person’s life.

본 연구는 1970년대 동일방직, 청계피복, 원풍모방의 노동현장에서 인간선언을 하 였던 5명 여성노동자의 생애를 통해 개별자로서의 주체가 어떻게 타자와의 연대적 삶 의 가치를 자기만의 방식으로 지켜왔는지를 살피고자 하는 연구이다. 이를 위해 1, 2 차에 걸친 개별, 집단 면담과 코딩 절차를 거쳐 다섯 가지 주제, 즉 ‘우리는‘여성’노동 자’,‘노동자 정체성’,‘단련되는 주체’, ‘비대칭성의 환대’,‘향유의 주체’를 추출하였다. 여 성차별과 노동착취의 현장이라는 거대한 판옵티콘 속에서 그들은 여성노동자로서 계 급정체성을 획득하고 그 과정에서 나타나는 서로의 무한한 신뢰와 사랑이라는 비대칭 성의 환대로 통곡하는 동지를 껴안았다. 상처에 노출되고 삶이 고통스러울지라도 타 자와의 연대와 헌신을 통해 그들은 책임있는 주체로서 향유를 경험하게 된다. 정치적 경제적 사회적 불의에 의해 짓밟힌 자의 모습으로 타인이 호소할 때 그를 수용하고 받아들이고 그를 대신해서 짐을 지고 사랑하고 섬기는 가운데 주체는 주체됨의 의미 를 갖는다. 주체의 주체 됨, 즉 ‘자기성’의 성립이 없다면 타인에 대한 책임 있는 윤리 적 관계는 가능하지 않다. 소외되고 아파하는 타자의 얼굴, 그 안에서 통곡하는 예수를 만나는 비대칭성의 환 대는 가까움에서 출발한다. 현장과 밀착되지 않으면 타자를 내 안으로 받아들임을 경 험할 수 없다. 소비사회에서 다분화, 다층화되어가는 민중이라는 무리 안에 해체된 개 별자들의 다양한 시선에 귀를 기울일 필요가 있다. 한 사람 한 사람의 삶을 구체적으 로 찾아가서 듣지 않으면 비대칭성의 타자를 통해 현현하는 하나님의 은총을 경험할 수 없기 때문이다.
