Individualism, a characteristic of modern society, has altered the impression of the community. Unlike past communities that were firmly unified based on region, contemporary iterations are increasingly formed based on loose connections. Most of these communities are temporary, formed according to individual needs, but interestingly, communities begun online often manifest genuine connections further nourished offline. This phenomenon can be understood as an expression of human nature, the desire to feel a sense of belonging to one’s community. Despite weakened in-person efforts during the pandemic, the Church has initiated efforts to regather, although prospects for full recovery to pre-pandemic levels of engagement seem less than encouraging. In this situation, the Church must provide programs for spiritual growth not only for dedicated members but also for loosely connected members. Constant movement has rendered offline meetings difficult for some members of the Church. With such considerations in mind, this paper proposes the incorporation of regular prayer in daily life within the spiritual training of the Church community. Applying the tradition of regular prayer (three times a day during the period of the early Church) can aid in understanding and internalizing the core of Christian spirituality in the modern day where spiritual life in daily life has become important. This paper conveys the meaning of the Lord’s Prayer based on the interpretation of the Church Fathers, who saw the Lord's Prayer from the perspective of prayer and modern writing. Moreover, this paper suggests that modern Christians living in the era of isolation can learn and experience a sense of belonging, sense of the Kingdom of God, forgiveness, and awareness of evil and sin through the Lord's Prayer.

현대사회의 특징인 개인주의는 공동체의 모습에도 변화를 가져왔다. 지역을 기반 으로 공고하게 결속되었던 과거의 공동체와는 달리 느슨한 연결 형태의 공동체가 점 점 증가하고 있다는 것이다. 이런 공동체들은 개인의 필요에 따라 모이는 일시적 공 동체가 많지만, 특이한 현상은 온라인에서 시작된 모임이 개인과 집단의 공감으로 오 프라인 모임으로 전환되는 사례들이 나타난다는 것이다. 오프라인 모임을 통해 공동 체 소속감을 더 느끼고 싶은 인간 본성의 표출로 이해될 수 있다. 팬데믹 시대에 대면 모임이 약화하였던 교회는 다시 모이기 위한 노력을 시작하였 지만, 팬데믹 이전 시대로의 완전한 회복에 대한 전망은 밝지 않다. 이런 상황 가운데 교회는 헌신된 구성원들 뿐 아니라 느슨하게 연결된 구성원들을 위해서도 신앙 성장 을 위한 영성훈련을 제공할 필요가 있다. 이동이 활발하며 시공간의 제한이 많아서 오프라인 모임 참여가 쉽지 않은 구성원들도 있기 때문이다. 따라서 본 논문은 교회 공동체 영성 훈련의 하나로 일상에서 주기도문으로 기도하 기를 제안하였다. 초기교회에서 하루 세 차례 주기도문으로 기도했던 전통을, 일상 속 영성생활이 중요해진 오늘의 상황에 맞게, 새롭게 적용하는 것이 필요하다고 본 것이다. 주기도문 기도를 통해 기독교 영성의 핵심을 이해하고 내면화할 수 있다고 보았 기 때문이다. 이를 위해 기도의 관점으로 주기도문을 보는 교부들의 해석과 현대 저 술을 주요 자료로 하여 그 의미를 설명하고, 고립의 시대를 살아가는 현대 그리스도 인들이 주기도문을 통해 소속감, 하나님 나라에 대한 감각, 용서하는 마음, 악과 죄에 대한 인식을 배우고 경험할 수 있다고 제안하였다.
