In this study, a model for flipped learning and project-based learning based on industry-academic cooperation was developed and applied to two subjects in the mechanical engineering major, and the student satisfaction and competency development were measured and the effectiveness was analyzed. From the research contents and results, the above-mentioned industry-collaborative model was very effective in creating two important outcomes: indirect experience of practical tasks in the industrial sites and cultivating important competencies required for human resources in the present and future society. In particular, it showed great effects in cultivating and enhancing core competencies such as improving self-directed learning ability, improving learning comprehension and improving creative problem-solving skills. In addition, it turned out to be very important in that it can intensively train and improve all 4Cs (creative problem-solving skills, communication skills, critical thinking skills, and collaboration skills), which are considered as important competencies in the era of the 4th industrial revolution.

본 연구에서는 기계공학 전공 주제 2개 교과목에 대하여 산학연연계 플립러닝 및 문제해결형 프로젝트 기반 교수 학습법을 개발, 적용하고 수강생 만족도 및 역량 함양 정도를 측정하고 효과성을 분석하였다. 연구내용 및 결과로부터, 산 학연연계 플립러닝 및 프로젝트 기반 교수학습법은 산업현장에서의 실전문제에 대한 간접체험과 현재 및 미래 사회에서 인재에게 요구되는 중요 역량을 배양하는 2가지 중요한 성과 창출에 매우 효과적인 방법임을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히, 자 기주도 학습역량 향상, 학습이해도 향상, 창의적인 문제해결 능력향상 등 핵심 역량의 함양과 제고에 큰 효과를 보였다. 또 한, 4차 산업혁명 시대에 중요한 역량으로 중요시 되고 있는 4C, 즉 창의적 문제해결능력, 의사소통능력, 비판적 사고력, 협업능력을 모두 집중 훈련하며 제고시킬수 있다는 점에서 매우 중요한 의미가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
