This study attempted to propose a plan for universities to provide sincere industry-university cooperation based on the results of industry-university cooperation and limit analysis. First, we looked at the changes and history of industry-university cooperation in Korea amid the paradigm shift in university education, and also looked at changes in the industry-university cooperation law and policies to support industry-university cooperation. Second, the main achievements of industry-university cooperation were investigated into four categories, including industry-university cooperation infrastructure performance, industry-university cooperation-based education performance, start-up performance, and industry-university research and technology commercialization performance. Third, to overcome the limitations of industry-university cooperation, the government-sponsored industry-university cooperation ecosystem was divided into establishing a friendly culture for industry-university cooperation, converting students to happy industry-university cooperation, establishing and utilizing an industry-university cooperation data platform to resolve information asymmetry. It is hoped that the results of this study will help Korean universities secure independence based on industry-university cooperation and thereby contribute to solving the financial crisis and the decline in the educational population.

본 연구에서는 산학협력의 성과와 한계 분석결과를 기반으로 대학이 진정성 있는 산학협력을 할 수 있는 방안을 제안하고자 하였다. 연구내용은 첫째, 대학교육의 패러다임 변화 속에서 우리나라 산학협력의 변화와 역사를 살펴보았고, 산학협력을 지원하는 산학협력법과 산학협력을 지원하는 정책의 변화도 살펴보았다. 둘째, 산학협력의 주요성과를 산학협 력 인프란 성과, 산학협력 기반 교육성과, 창업성과, 그리고 산학연구와 기술사업화 성과 등 4가지로 구분해서 조사했다. 셋째, 그럼에도 불구하고 존재하는 산학협력의 한계를 극복하기 위한 방안을, 산업계가 끌고 정부가 지원하는 산학협력생 태계 구축, 산학협력 잘하는 교수들이 대접받는 산학협력 우호적 문화 조성, 학생이 행복한 산학협력으로의 전환, 지역의 위기극복과 균형성장을 위한 산학협력, 대학-산업체-학생 간 정보비대칭 해소를 위한 산학협력 공동 데이터 플랫폼 구축과 활용, 함께 성장하는 산학협력 공유·협업 생태계 구축 등 6가지 핵심 방안을 제안했다. 본 연구결과가 우리나라 대학들이 산학협력을 기반으로 한 자립성을 확보하고 이를 통해 현재 직면해 있는 재정적인 위기와 학력인구 감소문제를 해결하는 데 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다.
