In this paper, we study the electroencephalogram (EEG) of users when entering an omnidirectional illusion in a virtual reality head-mounted display (HMD)-based flight simulation. In the experiment, four males and three females (30 years old ± 4.618) donned VIVE Pro HMDs and sat in a Roto motion platform that rotated once every 6 s at the same speed for 1.5 min. Participants were instructed to fix their eyes on an alpha vehicle in front of the visual content. The experiment was divided into four Session: Session.1 Not rotating, Session.2 Recognizing the rotation while rotating at constant speed, Session.3 Recognizing the rotation while rotating at constant speed, Session4 Stopped. At this time, we analyzed the EEGs of Session.2 and Session 3. The results showed a decrease in the Alpha spectrum in the F3, FC1, FC5, P7, and O1 electrodes. These results suggest that the response of cilia in the vestibular organ affects the increase in the alpha spectrum in the frontoparietal region.

이 논문에서는 VR HMD 기반 비행 시뮬레이션 상황에서 전향성 착각에 돌입하였을 때의 뇌파를 연구한 다. 실험에는 남자 4명, 여자 3명, 총 7명(30세, ±4.618)이 참가했다. 참가자들은 VIVE Pro HMD를 착용한 후 6초 에 1바퀴를 회전하는 Roto Motion Platform에 앉아 1분 30초동안 동일한 속도로 회전하였다. 이 때 HMD의 컨텐 츠는 선회하는 비행체에 탑승한 비행 시뮬레이션 상황이다. 참가자들의 시선은 컨텐츠 안에서 전방의 알파 비행체 에 고정하였다. 실험은 총 4가지의 Session으로 나누어진다. Session.1 회전하고 있지 않은 상태, Session.2 등속 회전하면서 회전을 인지하는 상태, Session.3 등속 회전하면서 회전을 인지하지 못하는 상태 마지막으로 Session.4 정지 상태이다. 이때 우리는 Session.2와 Session.3의 EEG를 분석하였다. 결과는 F3, FC1, FC5, P7, O1 전극에서 의 Alpha 스펙트럼 감소와 F3, T7에서의 Gamma 스펙트럼 증가가 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 전정기관내 섬모의 반응이 frontoparietal 지역의 Alpha 스펙트럼의 증가와 Gamma 스펙트럼의 감소에 영향을 준다는 것을 시사한다.
