This paper examines the melody of local folk songs in Sancheong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, known as the eastern folk song area. Sancheong-gun is located in the western Gyeongsangnam-do area, so it is possible to have a musical difference from eastern Gyeongsangnam-do. The purpose of this paper is to identify local folk songs in Sancheong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do musically and help them succeed in the future. The scope of the study is eight folk songs included in Sancheong-gun, the Korean Folk Song Exhibition (Finding Our Sounds) recorded by MBC Cultural Broadcasting in 1994, and will be compiled and analyzed in Oh Seonbo.

본고는 동부민요 권역이라고 알려져 있는 경상남도 산청군의 토속민요의 선율을 고찰한 것 이다. 산청군은 서부경남 지역에 위치하고 있어 동부경남과 음악적 차이가 있을 수 있다는 개연성을 염두에 두었기 때문이다. 본고는 경상남도 산청군 토속민요를 음악적으로 규명하 여 향후 계승에 도움이 되는 것이 목적이다. 연구범위는 MBC문화방송이 1994년 녹음한 한국민요대전(우리의 소리를 찾아서) 산청군편 에 수록된 토속민요 8곡이며, 오선보로 채보하여 분석할 것이다.
