Pyrrhonian skeptics refuted dogmatism and argued that peace is reached through the suspension of judgment. This is only for the skeptic's own peace and d oes n ot s eem t o c ontribute a nyth ing t o o th ers. H owever, S extus Empiricus argued in PH 3.280-1 that the skeptics contribute others by curing th e d ogmatist. I t s eems t o m e t h at t h is t reatment i s n ot f or e veryone a s dogmatic philosophers envision it. Referring to the statements of Sextus, the object of the skeptic's treatment is the dogmatists. The talented people who set out to search for the truth to solve the irregularity of things are not yet the treatment targets of skeptics. When they become dogmatists, those who affirm what is the truth of things, what is naturally good in matters of value, they become patients of the skeptics. Skeptics are treated through arguments, and the purpose of this treatment is to make them realize that the search for truth through reason puts them in a maze without an exit, which neither leads to the truth nor says that it does not lead to the truth. It is the practical contribution of skeptics to help dogmatists be freed from the oppression of finding the truth through this treatment.
