This study attempted to examine the effect of participating in the university employment support program on the first job satisfaction of young people who graduated from university in relation to the phenomenon of high early resignation rate of university graduates. To this end, the final 4,702 response data suitable for this study were analyzed out of 18,081 response data using the "2018 College Graduate Occupational Movement Path Survey (2017GOMS)." The analysis results are as follows. First, the number of participations in the employment support program did not significantly affect whether or not they were regular workers. Second, it was found that the more people participated in the employment support program, the higher the monthly salary of the first job. Third, there was no statistically significant relationship between the number of participations in the employment support program and first job satisfaction, but factor analysis showed that the first job satisfaction was subdivided into four categories to identify factors affecting each satisfaction. On the basis of findings, it can be inferred that the employment support program was more focused on quantitative performance for increasing the employment rate than on qualitative performance. Additionally, the future employment support program improvement plan and career and employment counseling direction are discussed.

본 연구는 대학 졸업자들의 높은 조기 퇴사율이 나타나는 현상과 관련하여, 대학 취업지원프로그램 참여가 대학을 졸업한 청년층의 첫 일자리 만족도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 ‘2018년 대졸자 직업이동경로조사(2017GOMS)’자료를 활용하여 18,081개의 응답자료 중 본 연구에 적 합한 최종 4,702개의 응답 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 취업지원프로그램 참여횟수가 상용직 여부에 유의미한 영향을 미치 지 않았다. 둘째, 취업지원프로그램에 많이 참여할수록 첫 일자리의 월 급여가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 취업지원프로그램의 참여횟수와 첫 일자리 만족도 간 통계적으로 유의한 관계가 나타나지는 않 았으나, 요인분석을 통해 첫 일자리 만족도를 4가지 범주로 세분화하여 각각의 만족도에 영향을 주는 요인들을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 취업지원프로그램이 질적인 성과보다 취업률 증가를 위한 양적인 성과 에 더 집중되어 있었다는 시사점을 도출함과 동시에, 향후 취업지원프로그램의 개선 방안과 진로 및 취 업상담의 방향에 대해 언급하였고 후속연구에 대하여 제언하였다.
