Background: Everyone has a hometown and there will be affection for where they were born and raised. Koreans have a particularly strong tendency. What this paper noted is the possibility that such literary works containing the sense of hometown of Koreans can be a good material for Korean culture education. Purpose: Through Moon Soon-tae's Jingsoori, Korean language learners feel and enjoy the consciousness of their hometowns together, and understand their hometowns in terms of comparative culture. Methodology/Approach: First, Moon Soon-tae's preceding study of "Jingsoori" is reviewed to reaffirm the sense of the subject of the work. In addition, prior studies using literary works are reviewed to confirm that literary works are useful materials in Korean language education. Second, "Jingso-ri" is analyzed by dividing it into characters, events, and backgrounds, and each of them is shared with the contents reflecting the subject consciousness. Third, as a cultural education of Korean language education, the contents of the activities are proposed by dividing literary works into activities before reading them and activities after reading them. Findings/Conclusions: As a result of conducting classes with this class plan, foreign Korean learners also expressed sympathy with their lives, even if they did not experience direct loss. Through this, it was possible to confirm the human attraction and universal consensus for hometown, even though the generation, nationality, and period were different.

배경: 사람에게는 누구나 고향이 있고 자신이 나고 자란 곳에 대한 애틋함이 있을 것이다. 한국인은 이런 경향이 특히나 강하다. 본고에서 주목한 것은 바로 이러한 한국인의 고향의식을 담은 문학작품이 한국어 문화교육으로 좋은 자료가 될 수 있다는 가능성이다. 목적: 문순태의 <징소리>를 통하여 한국어 학습자들이 한국의 고향에 대한 의식을 함께 느끼고 향유하며 비교문화적 측면에서 자신의 고향에 대한 의식을 이해하는 데 목적을 둔다. 방법론/접근: 첫째 문순태의 <징소리>의 선행연구를 검토하여 작품의 주제의식을 재확인한다. 더불어 문 학작품을 활용한 선행연구를 검토하여 문학작품이 한국어교육에서 유용한 자료임을 확인한다. 둘째, <징 소리>를 인물, 사건, 배경으로 나눠 분석하여 각각 주제의식을 반영한 내용을 함께 공유한다. 셋째, 한국 어교육의 문화교육으로서 문학작품을 읽기 전 활동 읽기 활동 읽기 후 활동으로 나눠 그 활동 내용을 제 안한다. 결과/결론: 이 수업계획으로 수업을 진행한 결과 직접 실향을 경험하지는 않았어도 외국인 한국어 학습 자들도 이들의 삶에 공감을 표시하였다. 이를 통해 세대와 국적, 시기는 달라도 고향에 대한 인간적인 끌 림과 보편적인 공감대를 확인할 수 있었다. 시사점: 한국어교육에 있어서 고향의식에 대한 문화교육의 교수-학습 방법론을 제시한 것에 의의가 있겠다.
