This study empirically identifies the reality and requirements of youth policy in the public sector, which has recently been receiving increasing attention. With the advent of the 4th industry and the global pandemic, it is even more difficult for young people to find employment. To overcome this, the public sector is proposing many youth-related policies, but most of the young people who are actual consumers do not do well or the policies are far from reality. Most of all, it is because most local governments follow copy by referring to best practices rather than developing policies with their own characteristics. Therefore, this study was carried out based on a survey and systematic analysis method targeting young people in Busan in order to overcome these limitations and to understand what the youth in the region actually want and to emphasize the need for youth policies to revive them.

본 연구는 최근 관심이 높아지는 공공부문 청년 정책의 현실과 요구사항을 실증 분석한 것이다. 4차 산업의 도래와 글로벌 팬데믹으로 인해 청년 취업은 더욱 어려운 상황에 있다. 이를 타계하기 위해 공공부문에서 많은 청년관련 정책을 제시하고 있지만 실제 수요자인 청년들은 이를 잘 알지 못하거나, 정책이 현실과 동떨어진 경우가 대부분이다. 무엇보다 대부분의 지자체가 각자 특색을 가진 정책을 개발하기보다는 우수사례를 참고하 여 모방을 답습하고 있기 때문이다. 이에 본 연구는 이러한 한계를 극복하고 실제 지역의 청년들이 원하는 것이 무엇인지를 파악하고 이에 부응하는 청년 정책의 필요성을 강조하기 위해 부산지역 청년들을 대상으로 설문조사와 체계적인 분석법을 바탕으로 추진되었다.
