The purpose of this study was to identify research trends in the field of public sports facilities using big data text mining. For the first time, based on the academic definition of public sports facilities, related research papers were collected from 1996 to September 2022 through the Korea Research Information Service(RISS). Among a total of 1,468 papers, 358 paper titles and abstracts were extracted as data, excluding duplicate papers or papers that did not meet the research purpose, and analysis of textom, Python 3,7, and TEANAPS libraries to utilize big data text mining techniques. The tool was used to derive the results. First, the texts of influence, service, factor, satisfaction, management, and operation with high frequency and TF-IDF value in the research field of public sports facilities were derived as common keywords, and each meaningful word connection was derived from service-Quality, Community-Society, Significance-Impact, Organization-Association, Customer-Satisfaction. Second, prior to analyzing the topic modeling of public sports facilities, we analyzed the similarity and consistency scores for setting the effective number of topics, and derived the optimal results when categorizing with six topics. Six topics were calculated and named as subjects of public sports facility management, service and customer, safety, regional characteristics, policy, and organizational management. These topics reflect the discovery and research trends in the main areas of public sports facilities, and finally, through this study, suggestions and supplementary points were to secure the scalability and diversity of the academic scope of follow-up research.

본 연구의 목적은 빅데이터 텍스트마이닝을 활용한 공공체육시설 분야의 연구 동향을 파악하고자 하였다. 먼저 공공체육시설의 학문적 정의를 바탕으로 관련 연구논문을 한국학술정보서비스(RISS)를 통해 1996년부터 2022년 9월 까지 취합하였다. 총 1,468개의 논문 중에 중복 또는 연구목적에 부합하지 않는 논문을 제외하고 358개의 논문 제목과 초록을 데이터로 추출했고, 빅데이터 텍스트마이닝 기법을 활용하기 위해 텍스톰, 파이썬 3,7, TEANAPS 라이브러리의 분석 도구를 활용하여 결과를 도출했다. 첫째, 공공체육시설 연구 분야에서 높은 빈도와 TF-IDF결과 값에 영향, 서비스, 요인, 만족, 관리, 운영의 텍스트가 공통적인 주요 키워드로 도출되었고 각각의 의미 있는 단어 연결에는 서비스-품질, 지역-사회, 유의-영향, 자치-단체, 고객-만족으로 나타났다. 둘째, 공공체육시설의 토픽모델링의 분석에 앞서 효과적 인 토픽 수 설정을 위한 유사도와 일관성 점수를 분석했고 6개의 토픽으로 범주화를 진행하였을 때 최적의 결과를 도출할 수 있었다. 6개의 토픽은 공공체육시설의 운영 관리, 서비스와 고객, 안전, 지역적 특색, 정책, 조직 관리의 주제로 산출 및 명명하였다. 이런 토픽들은 공공체육시설의 주요 영역의 파악 및 연구 동향을 반영하고 있으며, 마지막으로 본 연구를 통해 후속 연구의 학문적 범위의 확장성과 다양성을 확보하기 위한 시사점과 보완점을 제안하였다.
