The characters in the short story 「The god of land and the fox」, published after Kenji Miyazawa's death, are composed of a triangular composition. In the midst of various previous studies on triangular composition, the work is analyzed from a different point of view than existing studies. This work deeply depicts the feelings of a fox who wins the favor of a birch with skillful words and a feeling of inferiority between a fox and a fox while they check each other with a birch tree in between. This study focuses on the reinterpretation of the fox portrayed by Kenji in other works, the analysis focusing on the relationships and emotional flow of the characters, and paying attention to the fox's faint laughter and eventually crying and regretting it, and also works through the notes left by the artist. illuminates the ways of reading and the possibility of various interpretations of works. Through these considerations, we gain insight into the artist's mind hidden in the conflict between reason and emotion in the subconscious as well as the consciousness of the human inner world and the spiritual world in his work. The content of seeking to solve the problem of good and evil in Kenji's work can be interpreted from the religious point of view of the artist, who was immersed in a series of species. The author raises a problem with the contradictory aspects of human beings through fairy tales, leaving the reader to interpret the ending and expressing it in a form that leaves a lingering impression. The work compares human folly through the characters and their relationships, and when looking at the artist's intention to express his inner conflicts and contradictions, he struggles in Kenji's ideals and reality and suffers from self󰠏contradiction. The work raises a problem to highlight the contradictory reality through metaphor, draws the contradictory inner figure of the human being, and asks the original form and identity of human beings.
