Effect of Job Insecurity on Turnover Intention of The Merged Company Flight Attendants after The Announcement of M&A
초록
영어
Finding ways to reduce turnover intention, which is a predictor of turnover, can be a cornerstone for successful M&A because securing and using human resources with the skills and knowledge necessary for the organization in the process of organizational change such as M&A is very important. The purpose of this study was to present a plan to the integrated organization to buffer the turnover intention of the merged company crew by analyzing the influence relationship between the job instability, turnover intention, and expected motivation level of airline A, which was placed in the position of members of the merged company due to M&A announcement. The results of this study were as follows. First, it was found that the job insecurity of the merged corporate crew had a significant effect on the turnover intention. Second, the hypothesis was adopted as it was found that job insecurity of the merged company crew alleviates the positive (+) effect of going to turnover intention among the expected motivation levels, which are sub-factors of the expected motivation level of Vroom (1964). Third, it was rejected as it was found that the job insecurity of the merged corporate crew could not control the positive (+) effect of the turnover intention, which is a sub-factor of the expected motivation level.
