In this study, the mediating effect of self-elasticity was verified in the effects of extroversion, openness, affinity, sincerity, and neurosis, which are child's personality type 5 variables, on happiness. In the 12th year (2019) data of the Korean Children's Panel (PSKC), 1,412 fourth graders were targeted. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS 25.0 program, and the mediating effect was verified by applying the analysis aspect of Baron & Kenny(1986), and the significance of the mediating effect was verified by sobel test analysis. As a result, self-elasticity was completely mediated between extroversion and openness and child happiness, and partially mediated in the relationship between affinity and neuroticism and happiness. Therefore, basic data are provided for program and policy development so that children can have a sense of happiness through appropriate intervention that increases their self-elasticity.

본 연구에서는 아동의 성격5유형 변인인 외향성, 개방성, 친화성, 성실성, 신경증이 행복감에 미치는 요인 에서 자아탄력성의 매개효과를 검증하고자 한다. 한국아동패널(PSKC) 12차 데이터(2019)로 조사 당시 4학년인 1,412명을 대상으로 하였다. 수집한 자료는 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였으며, Baron & Kenny(1986) 의 분석방법을 적용하여 매개효과를 검증하였으며, 매개효과 유의성 검증은 Sobel test를 적용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 자아탄력성은 외향성 및 개방성과 아동의 행복감 간의 관계에서 완전 매개하고, 친화성 및 신경증과 행 복감간의 관계에서는 부분 매개하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 아동의 자아탄력성을 높이는 적절한 개입을 통해 행복 감을 가질 수 있도록 정책개발과 프로그램개발을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.
