This study is an academic review on the diversity and open realization of the current methodological field of culture and art. Currently, the study of culture and arts is a side branch of various disciplines, seeking academic methodologies with a focus on comprehensive and practical interpretations such as cultural policy, cultural history, cultural philosophy, and cultural planning. However, in the direction of culture becoming philosophy and education, the study of culture and arts is in the process of seeking a distinctive academic system compared to the various links with surrounding studies. Then, it was necessary to understand the philosophical question from the aesthetic point of view of the existing art as a more practical and practical methodology, and to understand culture and art from a productive point of view as ‘the result of human history as the root of cultural studies’. The idea of 'symbol' and the idea of creation regarding these practical philosophical methodologies could expand new perspectives in the academic discussion of cultural studies and cultural arts studies.

본 연구는 현재 문화예술의 방법론적 영역에 관한 다양성과 개방적 실현에 관한 학 문적 소고이다. 현재 문화예술학은 다양한 학문의 곁가지로 문화정책, 문화사, 문화철 학, 문화기획 등 종합적이고 실리적인 해석을 위주로 학문적 방법론을 모색하고 있다. 하지만 문화가 철학이 되고 교육이 되는 방향에 있어서 문화예술학은 주변학문과의 다양한 연계에 비해 변별적 학문의 체계를 모색하는 중에 있다고 봐야 한다. 그렇다면 기존의 예술이라는 미학적 관점에서의 철학적 물음을 보다 실용적이고 실 천학적 방법론으로서의 예술을 바라보는 시각에는, 문화와 예술을 ‘문화학의 뿌리로서 인류역사의 결과물’이라는 생산적 관점에서 이해할 필요가 있었다. 이러한 실천철학적 방법론에 관해 ‘상징’이라는 생각과 창조의 관념은 문화학, 문화예술학의 학문학적 논 의에 새로운 시야를 확장할 수 있었다.
