This study suggests that jazz is the only music genre in which existing songs are reinterpreted and released in the form of arrangement rather than in the form of new works through the creative process, which constrains emerging musicians to compete in other things than the original form of music. Based on this, a study was conducted on whether cultural factors other than musical factors can have a significant effect on the derivation of musical characteristics when analyzing the structure of music form and music. This study shows the possibility of external expansion in which standard culture can be included in the existing music research scope of jazz in addition to the spatio-temporal specificity of the occurrence of jazz. Since then, the following facts have been found as a result of research on the correlation between standard culture and the musical characteristics of jazz. First, the early jazz had a monotonous rhythm and played perfectly on the sheet music. Second, the original musical characteristics were not so, but over time, the rhythm became complicated, improvised in performance, and Mars became the most difficult of all popular music, including classical music. Third, the content of classical harmony and jazz harmony has conflicting harmony structure, melody relationship, harmony problems and solutions, and only jazz harmony is complicated among music genres directly or indirectly influenced by whites, suggesting that it may be incomplete to determine the complicated factor of jazz harmony. Fourth, jazz is the only mainstream music genre in which existing songs are reinterpreted and released in the form of arrangement rather than releasing new songs through a creative process, and competing environmental conditions are more advantageous for consequential development than other environmental conditions. Fifth, the standard culture of jazz limited the field in which emerging musicians compete with existing musicians to something other than the original form of the work, and eventually the performer had no choice but to compete with the 'performance technique'. Sixth, improvising in the field, complicating harmony, and mixing the rhythm series make it difficult, all result in transforming the original form of music when playing.

본 연구는 창작과정을 거쳐 새로운 작품을 발표하는 형식보다 기존의 곡을 재해석하여 편곡 의 형태로 발표하는 형식이 주류를 이루는 유일한 음악 장르가 재즈라는 점이 신진 음악가가 기존의 음악가와 음악의 본형 이외에 것을 경쟁할 수밖에 없게끔 구속하여 작품의 본형의 변형 과 관련한 연주기술의 고도화와 상관한 음악적인 특성의 파생에 영향을 미쳤다는 방향을 제시 한다. 이를 바탕으로 재즈만이 가지는 스탠더드 문화와 음악적 특수성을 상관한 측면에서 고민 한 것이 음악형식과 악곡의 구조분석 시 음악적 특성의 파생에 미치는 것이 음악적 요인 이외 에 문화요소가 유의미한 영향을 미칠 수 있는지에 관한 연구를 진행하게 하였다. 본 연구는 기 존의 재즈의 음악연구범위에 재즈의 발생의 시공간적 특수성 이외에 스탠더드 문화가 포함될 수 있는 외연의 확장가능성을 보여준다. 이후 스탠더드 문화와 재즈의 음악적인 특성의 상관한 연구의 결과로 다음과 같은 사실들을 발견할 수 있었다. 첫째. 초기의 재즈는 리듬이 단조로웠고 악보에 완벽히 적어서 연주하였다. 둘째. 본래의 음악적 특성은 그렇지 않았지만, 시간이 흐름에 따라 리듬은 복잡해졌고 연주 에 즉흥성이 생겼으며 화성은 클래식을 포함한 모든 대중음악 가운데 가장 어려워졌다.셋째. 클래식 화성과 재즈의 화성의 내용은 화음의 구조, 선율과의 관계, 화성적 문제와 해결이 서로 상반된 내용을 가지며, 백인의 직간접적 영향을 받은 음악 장르 중 재즈만 화성이 복잡해지고 타 장르는 오히려 단순한 형태를 보이는 점은 재즈의 화성이 복잡하게 된 요인을 ‘음악 교육을 받은 백인의 참여‘로 결정짓는 것이 불완전할 수 있음을 시사한다. 넷째, 음악 장르 중 창작과정을 거쳐 새로운 악곡을 발표하는 것보다 기존의 곡을 재해석해 서 편곡의 형태로 발표하는 것이 주류인 것은 재즈밖에 없으며, 경쟁하는 환경 조건은 그렇지 않은 환경 조건보다 결과적인 발전에 유리하다. 다섯째, 재즈의 스탠더드 문화는 신진 음악가가 기존의 음악가와 경쟁하는 분야를 작품의 본 형 이외의 것으로 국한하였고, 결국 연주자는 ‘연주기술‘을 겨룰 수밖에 없었다. 여섯째, 현장에서 즉흥적으로 연주하는 것, 화성을 복잡하게 구성하는 것, 리듬의 계열을 혼 합하여 어렵게 만드는 것은 모두 음악의 본형을 연주 시 변형하는 내용으로 귀결된다.
