This study identified the mediating and moderating effects of interpersonal competence on the relationship between self awareness, and peer group caring interaction of senior nursing students. We collected data from March to April 2021, from 242 senior nursing students via online survey and analyzed the results using the SPSS/WIN 26.0 program. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, pearson correlation analysis and hierarchical multiple regression by using Baron & Kenny’s method. Interpersonal competence had a significant partial mediating effect on the relationship between self awareness and peer group caring interaction (z=3.83, p<.001) when using sobel test, but had no moderating effect. With these results, These findings indicate that it is highly necessary to develop intervention program to enhance appropriate interpersonal competence in addition to self awareness to improve the peer group caring interaction of senior nursing students.

본 연구는 고학년 간호대학생의 자기인식과 동료돌봄행위 간의 관계에서 대인관계유능성의 매개 및 조절 효과를 확인하기 위해 시도된 연구로서, 2021년 3월부터 4월까지 수집된 4학년 간호대학생 242명의 자료 중 새로운 연구설계 및 가설을 도출하여 이차분석한 서술적 상관관계연구이다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 26.0 프로그램의 t-test, ANOVA, 상관관계를 이용하였고, 고학년 간호대학생의 자기인식과 동료돌봄행위 관계에서 대인관계유능성의 매개효과와 조절효과는 위계적 다중회귀분 석으로 분석하였으며, 매개변수를 통한 간접효과를 확인하기 위하여 Sobel test를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 대인관계유능성은 자기인식과 동료돌봄행위 간의 관계에서 부분매개효과(z=3.98, p<.001)를 보였으나, 조절효과는 없었다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 고학년 간호대학생의 동료돌봄행위를 증진 시키기 위해서는 올바른 자기인식의 확립과 더불어 대인관계유능성 향상을 위한 다양한 접근의 필 요성을 제언한다.
